Great food, great atmosphere. This was my first time coming, and was not disappointed. The waitress was great, and made sure we had what we needed. The food tasted great.
This place is always a win! It's just like home cooked food. It's about as authentic as it gets. Also they don't smother everything in cheddar cheese like the Americanized Mexican restaurants, they actually keep it authentic. It's definitely worth a try!

Don't let the location throw you off; this is a nice little restaurant with great service, good food and average prices. Our bill for family of four (2 adults, 2 kids under 6) was $36 total, which was more than we wanted to spend, but the service was so excellent it was worth it. This restaurant also offers hand made jewelry as well as other gift items. Worth trying if you are in the area.

Passing through Ogden; found this place at the east end of Historic 25th Street. Our smiling server recommended the Molcajete. It came out bubbling in the hot stone molcajete, full of shrimp, with logs of Mexican cheese in a thick nopal (cactus pad) gravy, served with house-made fresh corn tortillas and a side of refried beans & rice. Too much food! Really tasty and traditional. House-made tortilla chips w/ smooth garlicky salsa to start. We came for lunch so didn't sample the margaritas or other drinks- next time. My son had the kid's meal of fried fish with fries; came with a tasty tomatillo salsa as well as ranch and ketchup. Husband's fish tacos were fresh; generous portions. We boxed up 1/2 of it to go. Kind & cheerful service; good fresh food. Muy autentico. What more could you want?

The 2 ladies in front are very nice and very attentive, we will be back next year in 2019 and we will be back again they earn my business.. We have lived across the street for a few months and never thought about trying this place. But this was definitely the best food we have had in a very long time and we eat out at expensive restaurants all the time. Very welcoming and nice environment

Always glad to find a place where the traditional dishes of Mexico are being served with pride. Tacos with lots of meat. Fish filet dinner was perfect. Salsas could be tastier, maybe a change of recipe is required. Totally recommend
