The server did not disclose that swapping brussel sprouts for sweet potato fries is an upcharge, when I asked if I could swap my brussel sprouts for anything else. If I knew it was going to be extra, I would have kept it as is. That was dishonest. She also did not mention that condiments are an upcharge as well. It doesnt matter how much it was, I just wanted to know upfront that it was going to be extra. I like transparency, I like to know what to expect, that communicates mutual respect and establishes trust. I asked her if I could have 4 different sauces, and she brought them over without saying anything. After my bill was more than I expected, I asked her about it, and I had to “pull it out” of her, until she finally said that the sauces were extra, and eventually I had to guess about the potatoes as well, like, I had to play a guessing game, she did not say or show me what I was paying for. Which is wild. She did not show me my itemized receipt, and simply gave me the terminal to pay for the total. After I paid, on the terminal I clicked “print” the receipt, and I never got my receipt. When I was trying to talk to her to suggest “disclosing to future customers this information - because they might appreciate it”, she simply walked away before I even finished my sentence, and she mentioned as she was leaving, that she is going to get my receipt from the manager? So I waited and waited, and she never came back. I tried looking for her as I was leaving, to get my receipt, but she was nowhere to be seen. All of that felt very dishonest and gave me an ick.
To be clear, I was respectful, and told her, that I wasnt upset with her. (I work customer service, and know how awful and stressful it can be.)
I was surprised about the higher bill, but in the end I just wanted to be heard, however she seemed to brush off my questions about the upcharges, and turn it back on me. As if to say, it was my fault for not knowing. That is also wild and disrespectful. I didnt expect a refund or apology, but I also didnt expect her to try to tell me it was my fault. Especially since she suggested that since somewhere on the menu, it says its an upcharge… I read the entire menu, and it does not mention that condiments are an upcharge, it also says that if you swap something FOR brussel sprouts OR the sweet potato fries, you get charged extra. The thing is - I was swapping brussel sprouts - for fries (by their own definition, the similarly priced item), but they charged me extra anyway, as if I upgraded to something. And I did not appreciate that. In the end I just wanted to get my receipt and leave.
Food was fine, except the fries were obviously old. They were completely cold, dry, and firm. They gave me a replacement, once I notified them of this.

Came across Ogden Brewing Company and saw they were a restaurant as well. On a slow Friday afternoon, we were warmly greeted. Booth was very accommodating and could fit 8 thin people or 6 of us bonus sized people. Large dining room with plenty of seating on a busy night.
I enjoyed the “Root beer Float” cocktail very much. We chose the Chili Verde Dip as an appetizer and we were not disappointed. The warm sauce and pork were abundant, nice large chunks of meat that melted apart. Great choice for sure.
Our meals were the Cubano and the Fish-n-Chips. Both were outstanding. The Cod was wonderfully fresh, flaky and a nice light batter that did not overtake the fish. Perfectly balanced fish to batter ratio with the fish the clear winner. The Cubano was equally delicious. Nice soft bread, meat, pickles and sauce. I can’t believe I’m saying this but the sandwich had too much meat on it. I couldn’t wrap my mouth around it even after I tried to smash it. When does that happen? Best Cubano I’ve had in years.
Service was attentive and friendly. No complaints at all. We couldn’t finish half of our orders after gorging on the Chili Verde Dip, which was nice for leftovers tomorrow.
Glad we went and will go again. Good job Ogden Brewing!

My Review of Ogden Beer Company
“A Culinary and Hoppy Love Affair”
If the universe ever decided to bottle up happiness, pour it into a pint glass, and serve it alongside a plate of divinity disguised as food, it would look suspiciously like Ogden Beer Company.
Let’s start with the beer: each brew is a poetic symphony of barley and bliss, a liquid thesis on the art of fermentation. These folks don’t just make beer, they craft drinkable philosophy. One sip and you’re suddenly debating the metaphysical meaning of hops while grinning like a lottery winner in a barley field.
Now, the food! Good heavens. Whoever runs that kitchen deserves a Nobel Prize in Edible Excellence. Every bite feels like your taste buds just got promoted. The burgers are bold enough to make you rethink your life choices, and the mac and cheese could probably broker world peace if given the chance.
And the staff?!? Where do they find these radiant, hilarious, magnificent beings? Friendly without being fake, attentive without hovering, unless you want them to lol, and quick with recommendations that make you feel like you’re chatting with a Michelin-starred beer guru. They make you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time walking in. But if you’re a regular, they’re not afraid to make you laugh your butt off and feel like family and genuinely care about you. All the staff here deserve 5/5 reviews! No questions asked.
In short, Ogden Beer Company isn’t just a brewery, nay, it’s an experience. A journey to great memories, great vibes, great food, and glorious beer! And it all unites in a perfect, sudsy harmony.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Would recommend to anyone with taste buds, a sense of humor, or a beating heart.

Our group of 7 adults and 5 kids had a great lunch at Ogden Beer Co. Our server Corey was attentive, helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the chicken nachos and burgers as well as beer and cocktails. If you are looking for a great family friendly spot, look no further!

Let me paint a picture: biscuits and gravy so good I questioned everything I’ve ever known about breakfast. My husband got the smothered burrito and literally went silent mid-bite like he was having a spiritual experience. Food was unreal!!!!
And then there’s our waiter Corey. The man, the myth, the brunch legend. This guy didn’t just serve us, he curated an experience. Drinks refilled before we even realized we were thirsty. Jokes on point. Vibes immaculate. I’m convinced he’s part human, part hospitality angel.
If you’re wondering whether you should go, stop reading and just go. Brunch this good should honestly be illegal. They are the “Best Breakfast In Northern Utah” for a reason!!!!!
