Food and the atmosphere were fantastic. Put waitress was not the best. We had 2 tables a party of 12. So I get it was a bigger party, but it was a week day nland not busy. She was just not the nicest, never really check on our tables. The people who brought the drinks and food out checked on us more than our waitress. Then they want a minimum of 18% tip... But we will be back!
The best restaurant I've ever been in. For lunch, get the Petite Top Sirloin. It makes me so happy. Soup or salad? Always get a soup, their salad tomatoes are SOUR. French onion soup is my personal favorite. They also have a great chicken option.

I haven’t been to Prarie Schooner for quite a while but I have to say I was disappointed. For $41, the 16 ounce NY Strip was dry, not flavorful, had a lot of gristle and not sure it was 16 ounces; looked smaller. The deep fried mushrooms were really good and the server was very friendly so that’s why 3 stars. For just the steak, I would give it a one star.
