“My husband and I love to order online or over the phone for take out here. Our favorite dishes (mind you we haven’t tried anything else) is pad se ewe and pineapple curry dish. Warning they don’t mess around when it comes to spice levels. I get a level 1 here and typically will get 2 or 3 at other restaurants. We did eat in once and the atmosphere was nice. I love supporting small businesses.“
“Got the birria burrito, chicken burrito and their nachos. Was satisfied with everything! The rice is delicious. 2 complaints, the red sauce is EXTREMELY spicy! 15 minutes later and my husbands mouth including mine is still on fire. The birria sauce is super watery.Regardless, we will return.“
“Authentic Flavors with a Side of Patience: El Paisa Grill, Ogden, UtahMy recent visit to El Paisa Grill in Ogden, Utah, was a delightful immersion into authentic Mexican cuisine, though not without its challenges. The star of the show is undoubtedly their signature dish, the Molcajete Supreme, a culinary masterpiece cooked in volcanic rock. Featuring a tantalizing mix of shrimp, chicken, steak, Mexican cheese, and an exquisite tomatillo sauce, all grilled with onions, this dish alone makes the visit worthwhile. It's easily the best Mexican food I've ever had, bursting with flavors and cooked to perfection. The staff at El Paisa Grill was friendly, adding to the welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant. However, the popularity of the place meant a crowded dining area upon our arrival. The wait time was significant – 30 minutes just to be seated and about an hour for the food to arrive. Despite this, the overall experience was enjoyable enough to merit a five-star rating. An added bonus was visiting on karaoke night, which brought a lively and fun element to the evening. The live music and the chance to participate in singing added to the vibrant ambiance of the restaurant. The place is also kid-friendly, making it a great option for family outings.Another highlight is their all-you-can-eat taco buffet available Mondays through Fridays from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., offering a variety of choices for taco enthusiasts. The chips and salsa were also notably tasty. The owner, Jose, brings a personal touch to the restaurant. His passion for his heritage and the story behind the Molcajete Supreme, originating from Jalisco, Mexico, adds depth and authenticity to the dining experience. In conclusion, El Paisa Grill has quickly become one of our favorite local restaurants, and we plan on being regular visitors. Despite the wait times, the quality of the food, the fun atmosphere, and the genuine passion of the owner make it a must-visit spot for anyone craving authentic Mexican cuisine in Ogden.Parking: Plenty of parking but it should be repavedKid-friendliness: Great place for kids“
“Very kind staff. Very clean. The food hit home. I'm from Texas and my parents are from Mexico. The food was delicious. I had the coctel de camaron. Both the tostadas and coctel are super fresh and tasty. My fiancee had the enchiladas. Delicious. Also had an asada taco and the meat was marinated perfectly. Will definitely be going back soon.“
“I'm kinda picky so I really only get like 2 things when I come, but my man samples practically everything. We've been coming here for years and the food is always good. The only time we've ever had a "bad" experience was when I couldn't find the sugar rolls, but they were more than happy to cook me some up when I asked where they were (thinking maybe I just wasn't seeing them).“
“The ceviche was really goodI liked how it had carrots in it, i got the fish cevicheAnd how there was a diff selection of salsa both fresh and on the table. That salsa is so good !!!The chips and salsa were bomb. Fresh made chips crispy!! The service was very attentive. They checked on you every few mins or so. Def coming back !“
“So my Brother and I are foodies. We go all over trying different types of food and restaurants in Utah and I'll tell you we have good and bad experiences. This place was a very good experience. We arrived right as it opened and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We get the traditional food the first time at restaurant because that will tell you a lot about the place. The naan was delicious. The chicken Tikka and coconut chicken were perfect. The chicken was not dry. The waiter was very Attentive (jovi) sorry if I spelled it wrong. Anyone new to Indian food should definitely check this place out. We will be returning.“
“What an experience!! This Steakhouse was absolutely probably one of the most amazing dining experiences I have ever had. There are not enough words to express how stellar of a place this was. This is one time I wish Google had a 10-star rating. I'll start with the atmosphere absolutely amazing It is one of the most brilliant restaurants setups I've ever seen! It felt like I was sitting in the old west in the back of a covered wagon eating dinner. Now for the service Jeremy was an amazing waiter he attended to our every need made sure drinks were always full and constantly checking on the quality of the food! Now for the food probably one of the most amazing steaks I've ever had in my life It was cooked to perfection The baked potato was absolutely perfect and even my side of broccoli was perfectly cooked! I can't wait to come back to Utah in 6 months for my next meeting and make sure I have a reservation at the Prairie Schooner Steakhouse!!!“
“I come here al the time for the best sea food ever. I recommend it all the time a 100 %. You will not be disappointed food is amazing and service is as if family was expecting you for dinner. And across from them there is the best Mexican snacks any where you could get, same thing service is amazing and friendly as nothing else's.“
“Terrific food! Better than any chain restaurant. The steaks are great and surprisingly the prices weren’t as high as I was expecting. Super cozy booths and very unique decor. Fast service and kid friendly. Great place for a date! You can have a nice walk down the Ogden River pathway after too.“
