“My wife and I recently moved to the Midvale area. We are now frequent customers of Great India. Tonight we ordered their Great India Special Appetizer, the Garlic Cheese Naan, and an order of Chicken Vindaloo (spicy). The flavor is incredible and the food so fresh. We talked with the owners (yep - locally owned, a big plus) and learned that they prepare the Naan when it's ordered, not heated up from earlier in the day. Its obvious! We couldn't recommend a restaurant more highly. Really one our favorites.“

I had the citrus butter cast iron Alaskan halibut and a side of grilled cauliflower with garlic herb sauce, and a Beehive jack rabbit Gin Commander cocktail. My husband got the Wagyu hanger 8 0z steak, mashed potatoes, and The Espolon Tequila Hefe cocktail. For dessert we got the churros drizzled with raspberry sauce and a scoop of vanilla ice cream to share. “This was my first time and the food was great. I had a bowl of clam chowder that reminded me of a place back East, along with a crab sandwich. The crab was perfect. It really hit that New England craving.
The atmosphere outside was very inviting too — the weathered, worn look of the building gave it so much character and charm. It felt like one of those hidden coastal spots you instantly feel comfortable in.“

However, I will say that they have really good service. Last time I was there I ordered a burger and as well as half of my family and everyone thought they were terrible. No one else asked to change theirs out but they quickly and gladly changed mine out. The atmosphere is perfect. I always love their sides. Their salads, they're clam chowder. I have always enjoyed the early bird specials.“

“I have been eating at this location for 10 years and I’m so impressed with the waiter Jordan M, who served us so many times and also during the Covid years! He made us feel like we owned the room and we felt so welcomed and he always knew what we liked most on the menu.
I’m impressed with the new Management who always come to personally say hi to us. I love this location and all its staff including Ty and Mo who served me today.
I recommend coming to South Jordan and I promise you that you’ll have great food and great staff and excellent service!!!!
