“We ordered mahi-mahi tacos, fish and chips and chowder. Food was delicious, tasted fresh. You can’t get a lot of good seafood in Salt Lake so fast casual. Will definitely be back to try more. They have a slappy hour 3-5 & late night deals 8-9.“
“I was visiting Sandy and wanted to try something local and came across Localz Bistro (true to its name). Went during lunch and tried the Jambalaya Wrap with Chicken and Seafood Gumbo soup. The soup was really good. There seemed to be only one server (John.B) during that time and he was nice and welcoming.“
“Pretty good Chinese restaurant. I went there with a few people and the service was good. We ordered 8 dishes and they are all delicious and come out quickly (we were one of the only two tables at the time though). The atmosphere are ok, just like most Chinese restaurants. Recommended dishes from this meal are steamed fish in soy sauce, soft shell crabs, salt baked shrimps, tofu and shrimp balls, and clams in black bean sauce. Please be advised that the dishes are a bit on a salty side and you might need to balance on what to order a bit.“
“We came here for our grandmas birthday. I got the filet mignon and my husband got the tornadeo oscar. We also got calamari and bruscheta. The calamari was not impressive. In my opinion it tasted like soggy onion rings. In my husband's opinion-he loved the onion rings aka calamari. The bruscheta was delicious. My steak was cooked perfectly at a medium rare. I also got a baked potato that was good too. My husband chose the raspberry bread pudding and that was probably my favorite part of the dinner. It was super yummy. For all of this food it costed about $160.“
“First time going here. Normally, I go to betos or ranchoritos but decided to try this place since it was so close to my home. The price is a little cheaper, so I was willing to give it a shot. Got the Carnitas plate and the shrimp nachos. Both dishes were great and the size was good. They season their rice and beans differently than others, and I really like how they did it. I think they could've used more cinnamon in the horchata, but it was still good. Another thing that caught my attention was the size of the cups they put the sauce into. Easily double the size than that of their competitors, which I love because I'm a sauce lover. I'd recommend trying this place if you haven't before.“
“Great fish and chips shop with unique sauce/fry dip combinations. The mango curry and honey wasabi flavours were both sweet and mild flavours that were nice on both the very crispy fish and the chips. We tried the ceviche, too. It was a different take on ceviche than we are used to, with a tomato-heavy marinade, but it was good and flavourful. It was seasoned well and was a nice contrast to the fried fish and chips.Parking: Plenty of parking in the large lot for the area.“
