“Today my wife and I had lunch at The Melty of Aiken, a new restaurant that just opened in town. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the restaurant itself was spotless. We were part of a large crowd of people trying Melty for the first time, and the entire team—including the owner—was fully engaged and welcoming. We both ordered the hamburger with fries and a drink, all served hot and fresh. The food was delicious, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. We will definitely be back.“

“This place is a freakin gem! I can find no faults in the cheese steak, it is perfection in a bun and has no equal in Salt Lake County. I ordered to go online. I had to modify the pickup time in order to run another errand. They answered the phone promptly, understood my requests and asked clarifying questions. My food was hot and delicious when I got home. We need to continue to support small independent businesses such as this one or face the doom of soulless chain restaurants that treat you as a number they desire to extract as much money as they can out of.“

“-INITIAL REACTION- We walked in to a seat yourself sign. It was packed but we got lucky that they were wiping down a two top near the bar right as we walked in. Our server Erik was there within a minute with water, wished us a happy valentines, and told us about the specials for the night. While he grabbed our drink orders, a blackberry mule and a soda, we looked at the menu. -FOOD- My wife was already sold on the surf and turf. I was trying to decided between a burger, pasta, or pizza when the table behind us got their food and the fish and chips looked too good. We also got an order of the croquettes, we did 2 ham and cheese and 2 regular. The croquettes came out quickly and were crispy, massive, and cheesy, with two really good sauces (garlic aioli and spicy tomato) to dip. The haddock was massive and the breading was perfectly crisp, the fish was light and nicely seasoned and was perfectly complemented by the tartar sauce (which tasted fresh and I would guess is made in house but I didn't verfiy that). The Asian slaw was tangy and fresh and the chips were some of the best I've had, reat seasoning, crispy exterior and a fluffy interior, almost a midway between potato wedges and potato skins. My wife got the Surf n Turf special and it was delicious. The prime rib was in a red wine reduction sauce, the steak was cooked beautifully. The potatoes were creamy and buttery. I didn't personally try the lobster but my wife said it was amazing. -SERVICE- We were served by Erik and he did fantastic, was quick, personable, attentive, gave great recommendations, and never once did my soda reach the bottom before he was checking if I wanted a refill. Towards the end of the meal we were visited by the manager Marc to see how everything was and ended up chatting with him for a while. He got us boxes, gave tips on reheating and gave us some to go containers of the sauces. Overall the service was some of the best we've gotten in recent memory. -COST- The average plate is about $20-30 and honestly for the quality and the amount of food you get it is extremely fair imo.“

“Had a great experience. The food was delicious and came out quickly, but the real highlight was our server, Kierstin. She was friendly, attentive, and made the whole meal feel extra special for my son, offering hot chocolate and telling him about all the types of pancakes. It’s rare to find service like that -she’s a total gem! Highly recommend stopping by if you want great pancakes and great vibes. She said she works mornings!“

“Customer Service Manager Nikki went above and beyond to make our visit a wonderful experience. We had joined the online waitlist expecting to be seated around 7 p.m., but since it was such a busy night, our wait stretched about 30 minutes longer. During that time, my very pregnant daughter began feeling unwell. Nikki noticed and immediately brought us fresh rolls and ice water while we waited outside, making her more comfortable. She even managed to get us seated sooner than expected. It’s rare to see staff take that kind of extra care and attention, and I want to commend Nikki, and Texas Roadhouse, for delivering that level of service. Her kindness turned what could have been an uncomfortable wait into a positive experience, and it’s exactly the kind of hospitality that creates loyal customers, even among the pickiest of guests.“
