way overpriced for small amount of food. won't be going back
I was held up picking up something so I asked for fresh dryer and, no problem.
The food was good, nothing spectacular, but the updated/modern design of the restaurant is doing a lot of lifting. What I mean by that is the kitchen is gross, especially the floor (we could see it clearly from where we were eating), the bathroom had overflowing paper towels in the trash, and the dining room floor looks like it has spills that have been there all day. Shake Shack The School Yard offers a decent burger and great shakes. The cookies and cream shake is a standout, while the gluten-free buns and classic buns are appreciated. The fries are tasty, but some find the cheese flavor not to their liking. Many customers describe the fries as hot, fresh, and crispy, although others believe they are made from frozen ingredients and not worth the price. The burger itself has good flavor, but it's on the smaller side compared to other places. The restaurant is located in a cool renovated historic structure and features a clean ambiance with friendly staff. However, some diners feel that the prices are a bit high for the portion sizes, with meals sometimes exceeding $20. Overall, it's a nice spot for a quick bite, especially if you're in the mood for a delicious shake, though some may find the shake sauce lacking and the peach shake more vanilla-flavored than expected.
