The reputation of the Straw market is legendary around Pleasantview and North Ogden. When I visited, it had the feel of a small convenience store. The pastries were fresh, and the staff was semi-attentive. The clerk couldn't figure out the Styrofoam containers, thus making it difficult for me to open them later because they were upside down. I asked for a receipt and didn't get one, maybe because I paid with cash? I'm not sure on that count. Lots of seating and...

Straw Market is one of my family's favorite places. My kids hang out here all the time and their sugar cookies remind me of my grandma's when I was little. We love our little local market 🙂

We went in for Sweet rolls. We were only able to get one orange roll for the group as they were very low. But both were very good. We will be back
