Based on the accolades and awards won, I was expecting some really top notch barbecue. The reality of it was it was just okay. I probably wouldn't return. I had a sampling of everything and there was nothing that really stood out as being like wow this is some good cue. I gave it an overall 4 stars, just taking in everything to account. The bbQ, I would probably rate it like 3.8.

Great BBQ joint. I had a mix of brisket, pulled pork and turkey. All had great flavor. The baked beans were ok, just too much cumin in it for me. Great atmosphere, great friendly people work here. Highly recommended!

I enjoyed it. Probably best bbq in Provo/Orem area. They give really good portion sizes for the price. Wish the spicy bbq sauce was spicier. Would probably go back again.

My sister and i came in really excited to eat here because we have heard great things about bam bams. We split the brisket sandwich with mac and cheese. The brisket was so dry no amount of sauce made it edible. The mac and cheese was just pure starch. The sauce was wall paper paste. The best part of the meal was the drinks.

Ordering for carry-out is a bit of a pain. On-line would fix that. Wish the Sweet Tea was really fresh made, not high fructose syrup. The potato salad was great, and the pulled pork was delicious.
I ate here two days ago, and have had the worst 48 hours since! Got so sick with food poisoning from this place.

Brisket was ok, could request flat or point which was nice. Not much smoke ring or flavour, needed sauce to add interest. Ribs were bad, embarrassing standard, on a Saturday night they should be rocking their best but they were overcooked, mushy and over seasoned with rub. Not smoked well. Service was ok, nothing outstanding. No-one would serve these if they'd tasted them.

I don’t like leaving negative reviews but few like I have to on this one. The food is solid and the staff was friendly, but my whole group got sick immediately afterwards. I’ll spare you the details, but it definitely had to be because of bad meat.

This was our first visit to Bam Bam’s, and we will come back. Unfortunately, when we arrived at 5:45 pm they were already out of brisket, and by 6:30 they were out of about everything. This may have been because there was a BYU basketball game that night. We enjoyed the ribs and pulled pork, the sides were all good and we loved the casual atmosphere. Recommend!
