Blending with my Blendtec Pro today it seized up, there was a bad smell, and then a bunch of smoke started coming from the base of the blender. This is the most used appliance in our kitchen, so living near the blend tech headquarters. I drove down there today on a Friday. I went to the front doors and it was closed. I then realized that it shows they are closed on Fridays on Google maps. Even so, someone saw me standing outside the doors and got special permission to let me inside...
Great customer service! We had a warped jar and they sent a new jar the next day. Downside is you can’t put it in the dishwasher, hence four stars. And I don’t like the lid on the jar, but I’ve used this pretty much every single day for the past three years and it’s still going strong. Most other blenders simply can’t handle that kind of traffic.
I was using mine this morning, and relized we have had it for at least 12 years and it's still going strong. Family of seven with heavy use, more than once a day on average, we've used the wide mouth jar almost the whole time. Pretty good for a countertop appliance!
