Cena Ristorante & Lounge, located in the lobby of the Chateau Deer Valley, provides a pleasant dining experience with delicious food and generous portions. The service is generally quick and attentive, making it a good spot for a tasty and efficient meal. The large windows create a great ambiance and backdrop for dinner. The menu features a variety of dishes, including the butternut squash pasta, which is gluten-free, although the gluten-free status of the cheese sauce is unclear. Guests have enjoyed the daily risotto, which offers a unique spin on carbonara, and the corn gnocchi, praised as a favorite appetizer, although some wished for more corn. The restaurant also serves fried scallops, Caesar salad, steak, and wood-fired personal pizzas, which are highly praised for their unique flavors and expertly created by the chef. The chicken Parmesan is noted as the star of the show, consistently incredible over the years. Guests have enjoyed the Margherita, pepperoni, and prosciutto pizzas, finding them large enough to share and very satisfying, although some mentioned the pizzas could be a little oily. The desserts are always delicious, with the tiramisu being highlighted as the best in Utah, consistently maintained on the menu. While parking costs $75, visitors can ask if it will be waived when dining in. Despite some minor slow service issues at times, the overall experience is positive, making it a great place to visit for a tasty meal near the ski slopes.
