I just had the WORST experience at this Cold Stone Creamery. I ordered a milkshake and what I got was basically just chocolate milk. On top of that, the staff was incredibly rude—no one was smiling, nobody seemed like they cared at all. To make it worse, I watched as they didn’t even bother to wash their hands while handling things, which is absolutely disgusting. Between the terrible service, unhygienic practices, and the complete lack of professionalism, I will never be coming back here. Not to mention the incredibly slow service.
Yum! Delicious raspberry sorbet. I have a GF/DF daughter and the worker checked with his coworker on allergen protocols and she knew proper protocols to keep her safe (changed gloves & serving utensils). She had the Silk Chocolate non-dairy ice cream (no mix-ins to help avoid cross contamination) and my husband had the same chocolate non-dairy ice cream in a waffle cone he also said was delicious.
They were pretty busy despite the late hour due to their proximity to the Megaplex theater but kept the line moving efficiently.
One of the worst calls to receive is right before a party when the hostess calls and says the cake looked like a 4th grader decorated it!! The one on the left is what I wanted plus some strawberries on top. The one on the right is what I received!! Yes, you saw that right. I'm not really sure that the decorator has ever seen a strawberry in real life because they come with green stems not red squiggles. You would also have hoped that they would have piped the cake edges...nope. The crazy thing is, this cake was $70 with tax and tip. Again, your eyes don't deceive you. Also the cake tasted fine but they omitted the extra strawberry mix-in which we also ordered. I did the read the reviews and was hoping that the odds would be in my favor. Unfortunately, I fell in love with the idea of an ice cream cake and needed it out of Park City. I tried calling the store last night to have them make it right, but no one answered the phone after two attempts. Management, you might want to do some training in your store or just close up shop. More reviews like this and it will be sooner than later. So sad.
Probably don't stop in here if you're looking for a reliable ice cream experience. They were out of several flavors and were very stressed. I would just recommend going elsewhere. They were overwhelmed with the amount of people and it wasn't the best experience.
Overall a good ice cream place! We've come here twice - one to get a birthday cake, and another to get some ice cream to go. Birthday cake was delicious, they messed up a little bit writing the name on the cake but were able to fix it. Had to wait a while to pick up some ice cream, but it was worth it - super delicious! All staff were friendly both times we've gone.
Ah, the 4th of July. Fireworks, freedom, and apparently… frozen regret. We stopped by Cold Stone to treat ourselves to a patriotic scoop of happiness, but what we got instead was a sticky scoop of sadness with a side of chaos.
First of all, we waited in line longer than the American Revolution lasted. When we finally did, we were greeted by a teenager who looked like they were one sprinkle away from a mental breakdown. (Honestly, I don’t blame them.)
We ordered what we thought was a simple concoction of chocolate ice cream with cookie dough. What we got was a lukewarm soup of questionable consistency that looked like it lost the will to live somewhere between the waffle cone station and the toppings bar. It was like our ice cream had watched the fireworks too early and gave up. When we asked the teenager why the ice cream looked like soup he casually mentioned someone had left it out to melt.
In conclusion, if you want overpriced, under-frozen ice cream served with a hint of existential dread, Cold Stone’s in Park City got you covered. But next year, I’m celebrating with a popsicle and peace of mind.
God bless America… and Godspeed to whoever orders from this location.
Ice cream was good, but the restaurant felt pretty dirty. The worker was doing their best and was very efficient.
We went in and were greeted by a young man I believe by the name of Jose?? He was outgoing with a fun personality. He took our order, made them both right away. He was polite and was the only one working that we saw. I hope people are a little nicer to him and can enjoy his energy he has. He was pretty funny in a nice way. We will be back and hope he is there for our next visit.
I had a very upsetting experience at this location. An employee — a young man, around 16 years old, with green eyes and middle-parted hair — made a rude comment about my body. When I asked for his name, he replied, “It’s José,” clearly mocking my Hispanic background.
My girlfriend and I felt extremely uncomfortable and chose not to stay. Looking at other reviews, it seems this kind of behavior is not uncommon here. I returned and spoke with a manager to report it. Disrespect like this should never be tolerated.
I visited Cold Stone recently and ordered a blonde strawberry vanilla ice cream with Heath bars. Unfortunately, I received pecans instead. My husband kindly went back to request a refund or to have Heath bars added, but he encountered a rude employee who didn’t seem to listen to him. It was disappointing to feel dismissed during our visit. While I love Cold Stone’s ice cream, the service I received this time left much to be desired. I hope management addresses this for future customers.

Great and fast service, the staff is friendly 👌
We walked in and there were 2 boys that looked 16, with no manager (why is no manager there on a Friday night??) they didn’t acknowledge us once, I had to interrupt their conversation to order. They were having some inappropriate conversation the whole time we were there, and did not say a word to us. We both work in fast food so we have lots of understanding, but we were shocked by the lack of customer service let alone basic socialization skills.
Tyler, the boy who helped us , was super super rude. Made some super rude comments to us and when we asked about samples he said no and held angry eye contact until we so uncomfortable and then gave us a sample anyway . Just a super uncomfortable experience and i couldn’t wait to get out of there.
Terrible customer service from the 2 that worked the night shift today 03/08/2025. They even closed 30 minutes early
The worst costumer service ever
Mean unrespectful lazy employees 😴
