We first dined at this restaurant eight years ago and found it to be mediocre, which is why we didn't return for quite some time. However, two years ago, a friend persuaded us to give it another shot, and we were pleasantly surprised by the improvement in the food. We assumed they must have hired a new chef. Fast forward to a couple of days ago, and our experience was utterly disappointing. Despite having a reservation and arriving ten minutes early, we were made to wait 25 minutes for a table, even though the restaurant was mostly empty. When we sat down there was a lot of spilled oil beneath the table and chairs. They made us wait another 10 minutes for a new table in a 1/3 filled dining room. Our server was slow to respond to our requests; for instance, it took 15 minutes to receive the pepper after we were served along with other items. As for the food, it was simply subpar. I can't fathom how they could ruin a basic bowl of pasta with scampi. Rather than returning it, I just wanted to leave since we had already spent too much time there for poor service and food. When they inquired if I wanted my uneaten meal packed to go after I took only two bites, I declined. They didn't even bother to ask why or if I enjoyed my meal. The overall service and food quality felt disconnected from reality. I won't be giving this place a fourth chance.
Great food. Beautiful restaurant. We come every time we are in Park City. Multiple times a year. Moderately priced for a fantastic meal.
Fettuccine needs more sauce, it was very dry. Expectations were much higher as I used to live in PC and dined here often. It has taken a step back from the days Matt was the chef.
Every time we come to Park City we visit Ghidotti's Italian Restaurant. The food and service are great !
The food was good and our server was very nice. If you like American and Italian food you should enjoy this place. Prices are reasonable, but the pacing was not great: we got our appetizers before we got our drinks, and we had to ask 2 times to get them. Then, about 5 minutes after we got our apps, we got the entrees. None of us were finished with the appetizers. We would go back but if you go I would order apps+drinks then wait and then order entrees.
We like Ghidotti's because the food is good and predictable. The tables are nicely spaced so you do not feel like you're on top of another party and it gives an air of graciousness to the dining experience. The service is always excellent as the servers are always anxious to please. A nice touch.... it was my husband's birthday and the server brought a delicious dessert with a candle (without being asked.) When we received the check the dessert amount had been subtracted from the bill. What a nice gesture. A little thing like that can go a long way. We will be back soon.
The food was good and the environment is really nice. The only issue was the long delay between the stages of service. Dinner with dessert took over 2 1/2 hours.
For a fine dining American-Italian experience, please go to Ghidotti's. The food and service are world-class. I always dine in as well as take several family dinners to go. GM Net truly cares about ensuring a beautiful experience for each guest. Dalila was our server. She gave excellent recommendations and was always a joy and delight to talk to. I highly recommend Ghidotti's. You will be impressed and glad you dined here.
I was recommended this place so our group decided to try it. Outdated decor/ambiance and very mid level food. Drinks are awesome but that was about it. Our server also commented on how much food was consumed at the table which we didn't find super appropriate. Would not tell anyone this is worth going to personally.
Went here for dinner while traveling through the area. Great service and excellent food. Would definitely recommend and would visit again if I am in the area.

We always enjoy dinner at Ghidotti's. The ambience is attractive and quite pleasant. Our server was excellent. We had the meatball appetizer and the smoked salmon appetizer. Both very good. One of the main courses ordered by our group was the seafood risotto. The calamari was tough, overcooked. The dish was fair at best. The other two main dishes were very good. We will look forward to going back.
Late weekday evening 8PM service could have been a bit faster as there were few patrons at that time. Food was very good.
We were there last night in a party of 6, and ordered a variety of dishes. All were delicious. The ambiance was very nice, and our waitress Delila was a joy. She was on top of everything and gave us excellent advice on what to order. We will be going back!
The food was excellent and generous for the $$. While the servers & Mgr. are incredibly friendly and lovely, their service just doesn't match expectations. Service is inconsistent, and we found ourselves, for example, with empty water glasses and drinks for too long. They simply need more training and hustle.
Quite warm in the front of the dining area. A fan sitting on the bar helped, but we'd expect better temps. Waitstaff was a bit overwhelmed, but did the best they could.
