The Marquis Reviews
Went to see Andy Bell perform on 11/21 and his performance was excellent, however, I was very disappointed by The Marquis venue and their lack of ADA seating available. The ADA section accommodates around 10 people, it would be less if there were any wheelchairs. Security said I could buy a VIP ticket and go sit in the VIP section. That would be nice if I were rich. Someone else on Security saw me leaning against the staircase in order to give some relief to my leg and he told...read full review
A local club that isn't for the locals. Hard Pass.
Just saw The Black Keys and will also be coming to see Lil Jon tonight. This venue and the sound is way better than I expected. Amazing and clear sound, nice base and nice sized venue for its location. When you see Main Street and think of a venue you tend to think it would be small and not all that but this is an amazing gem right in the middle of Main Street. Would recommend seeing an artist here and have a great time.

Based on recent reviews, The Marquis is a venue with excellent sound, described as crystal clear and loud enough to enjoy yet allowing for conversation. The unique 360° stage provides a front-row view for many, with a wrap-around rail. The location is great, and the staff are friendly and hospitable, with bartenders noted as super nice and professional. The music is great, and the vibes are positive, creating a good time. However, the venue can be way too hot, as the AC does not seem to work well. Drink pricing is a concern, with a Red Bull and water costing $22, though tap water is free. Ticket prices are considered overpriced, with multiple tier pricings. Some reviews suggest adding center speakers for better front-row sound. The bathrooms are really nice and clean, and the dance floor is open with no pillars. A coat check is available and helpful for cold weather. Overall, The Marquis offers a cool venue with great music and staff, but the heat and high costs are drawbacks.
