Cauliflower proved a great starter shared amongst our guests and ourselves. Our guests raved about "The Baller" - their huge prime ribeye steak more than enough for the two of them. The shellfish proved terrific, but the bass a bit overcooked. Good service but sorting through the wine offerings to find a reasonably priced offering proved a real challenge.
After having hit many of the top rated restaurants in PC over a week and a half while staying on Main Street, Handle was by far the best food. Only the location would be possibly a negative when there are so many options with epic outdoor space. That said, we had excellent service from Alex who was fun to be with, had a great personality and was clearly knowledgeable about the entire menu. The menu concept is unusual but really there aren’t any bad choices. The dishes are super creative and well balanced. Beautiful to look at and even better to taste. Nearly everything is shareable and the portions lend themselves to just this practice. Cocktails are also good but once more in Park City, a great restaurant that doesn’t keep their wine stored properly. Waiting for a bottle of red to come down from greater than room temperature is frustrating. All things considered though, these folks have their navy together and comes shining though bite after bite.
We dined at Handle three times in the past year and a half. Each time the food was excellent. The cocktails were as well. The staff was among the very best. The atmosphere is nice, welcoming, fun. They did an excellent job accommodating food allergies and sensitivities. We have eaten in many restaurants in the Park City area. This is the best.
The service at the bar was the highlight with very friendly and helpful staff. We ate at the bar and my friend & I shared "The Baller" which is a 25 oz ribeye. It was excellent, although know that the kitchen (at least this night) seemed to cook on the rare side. We also had the "Meat & Cheese" plate which was huge for just two people. Overall it was a great experience, although it is very expensive; more expensive than it should have been in my opinion (and I'm not afraid of paying for a great dining experience.) The restaurant decor itself could be upgraded as well in my opinion. It appeared to me that it may have been a restaurant before and The Handle took over the space and just hasn't made it their own. I could be wrong about that, but for the cost of the meals I'd like to see it appear as a much more put together and intentionally designed space. With that said, I would come back!
We had a really good meal. The Brussels sprouts were outstanding and the NY steak and as also great. The trout was also very good. The booth set up worked really well. And very friendly environment overall.
My wife and I have returned to Handle for good drinks and delicious food during a number of our visits to Park City. Stylish bar vibe and crowd, and eclectic, delicious food. The bartenders are always fun and helpful in recommending drinks and wine. Enjoy!!
We spent a wonderful evening at Handle last night. The food was superb. Yes, it is pricey but the quality definitely matched the price. The chef’s creativity translated into many subtle flavors that delighted us. The kale salad was the best any of us had ever had. It had crunch and texture. The fish of the day was light, crispy and the romesco sauce was a great complement to the fish and the fresh mushrooms. Our experience was shaped by the fabulous and knowledgeable server, Bruno. He educated us and his recommendations were spot on. He obviously loves his job, is passionate about the cuisine and guided us through a rich menu. He was a true representative of Handle’s cuisine. He made our experience memorable. The hostess was not very welcoming but our server made up for it. The wine list could include a broader range of price points. We also appreciated the lighting and the low decibel ambiance. We would go back anytime and thank you to Bruno.
Fun vibe and amazing food!
Ordered a NY steak. Not sure what we got but certainly was not NY. Waitress was unamiliar w/ their menue also ONLY 5 Main Dishes on it. She explained the "shelling beans" to be lk French Beanch. Could not be farter from as only pods. Noisy at 6pm w/ screaming, tired kids allover w/ parents who could care less. Not a setting promoting $26 (!!!) for a small starter of Brussels Sprouts and $56 small steak. DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE HYPE!
Discover778357 As we arrived our server while nice was immediately unable to answer questions about the wine. Had to keep leaving to ask questions of the bartender but then still came back unable to explain anything for 30 mins. We ordered a salad and cauliflower which were good but not great. When we finished, our server arrived and said "is this the end of the road?" Umm...no sir, it's not (although we wish it had been). We had not even ordered a single entree. They say to share meals yet they deliver tiny portions. Sharing the strip steak - about a half piece of strip steak. Not even a full steak to split at $50? The manager argued that the menu said it would be a small amount of ounces. It did? Where? But really.. why would you even deliver that? Told no problem to adjust a dish to not have dairy. They were on it! When our dish arrived? Sauce with dairy and needed a new one made. The Desserts.. were basically a store bought ice cream bar with a stick served in a bowl with spoons? The "bar" was so hard you could not even cut in to it. $16 for an ice cream bar on a stick? We were told it would taste like an almond joy with chocolate sauce. The ice cream bar arrived, it had been lathered with raspberry jam all over it and no chocolate sauce? The server claimed he never said it was chocolate and the chef likes to improvise. Chef Improv is to slather jelly on an ice cream bar? I guess the "special chef" can't even make the $16 desserts? Skip it & the argument with the manager!

Went to Handle yesterday evening. Meat was dry, flavors bland, presentation non-existent. Rigatoni served in a bowl looked like vomit. Servers brought wrong plates, incorrect cook on steaks. First told no bread because it didn’t meet the cooks standards. Upon ordering told they did not have the baller steak. Servers brought potatos ordered long after the main dish was brought. We had to ask where the potatoes were, brought halfway into the meal. Tea water brought lukewarm. There were 5 of us, one of 3 who sent steak back waited 20 minutes+ for her meal, the rest of us had finished what we could palate. Very limited menu, limited choice of beverages, restaurant was not heated, cold when we arrived, even cold after requesting heat twice. No atmosphere, crowded room resembling a bingo hall with uncomfortable chairs and bingo like tables. We all went home hungry and heated up leftovers. If I could rate a zero, I would on all facets. Certainly not worth the $350 bill we received.
They took 45 minutes to get our drink order, then only took half of our tables dinner order serving half of us dinner while the other half just sat there! When we complained manager was extremely rude and not helpful at all
Was really excited to go here, heard great things from locals. I left feeling pretty disappointed. The location though downtown and walkable to get to is inside a kind of strip mall so you have to go inside a mall type setting to get in. There's also two different seating areas, one in the main area with a seemingly cool ambience with a view of the nice bar, one where you have to walk outside the restaurant to get into which is small with no real ambience or view. The food options on the menu seemed reasonable for a trendy new American upscale fine dining kind of appeal, and the pork shank was definitely good, though not with $60 after tax. The mushroom bolognese was good, but pretty spicy for not having any warning on the menu that it was so. So it was a little annoying to barely be able to eat a dish that I ordered bc I wasn't warned it was spicy. Probably the most disappointing was how fast the food came. It was literally less than 5 minutes after we ordered. That may be good for some people or if you're ordering fast food, but at an upscale place part of what you're paying for is the time/ experience to enjoy your drink and sitting together. I would've stayed and had another drink if it didn't feel like they were trying to turn over tables. So for the price? All of the above just not worth it and wish we had spent our nice evening out elsewhere.
There’s a reason it’s rough to get a seat at this place. It is FABULOUS! The staff is fantastic and the bar team will now your mind with their knowledge and creativity. We had the crudo and the larb prior to sharing an entree. The larb is not only delicious it’s gorgeous.
I'll start by saying it was nice that the hostess didn't seem annoyed when I asked for one the halfmoon-booths/table that I spotted as we walked in the door. This place has a great atmosphere. The variety of craft cocktails were delicious! I ordered the cauliflower and pork belly - both great choices.
