We have dined at Handle many times in the past and have loved our experience. But Saturday night was quite different. Our server, although friendly at first, disappeared after taking our order. I asked specifically if I could order courses one by one because I don't enjoy when everything comes out at once but he said chef likes diners to order all at once. We ordered the beet salad to share and then the Cauliflower and Brussels sprouts next and then all four of us ordered an entree. All the appetizers/starters came out at once which was very disappointing because i would prefer for cold items to start and then the hot items as I requested. Veggie portions were particularly small tonight (took up 1/3 of large plate). I don't recall seeing our server as there were other people clearing dishes . Our entrees were all sub-par. Two of us had the mushroom pasta which was inedible it was so hot that my son drank my water and his water to cool down. It didn't not taste like the usual dish. I requested no scallions (so there was nothing on top of my pasta as seen in the pictures posted other than the mascarpone). The other person who had the pasta said he could tolerate the hot spice but did not enjoy it. My son had the fried chicken, which is famously delicious and we had eaten only two weeks before) and it was not tasty, dry, and had a weird side garnishing. My other son had the lamb ($68) pretty pricey. The server did a quick drive by to see if we wanted dessert (people still eating, didn't give us a menu) and sped by before we could even ask for water or complain about the dishes. He was obviously more concerned with other tables. We wanted to speak up but were embarrassed since we rave about the restaurant and had a guest from out of town. Regardless the server stopped by to drop off check and otherwise he was never at the table long enough to discuss-never asked if we wanted more wine or cocktails (also only went to the kids side not theadult side. Incidentally, he also put the check down in front of my 20yo son and his friend not in front of me-the only adult at the table and the one who did the ordering of the apps for the table). On the way out, hostess asked me how everything was and I mentioned that they needed to let the chef know that the pasta was so hot and spicy it was inedible and chicken was not the famous dish it usually is! She insisted I wait and speak with the GM who seemed overwhelmed and apathetic. Apparently the chef was in the hospital and they had a new guy fill in. They received lots of complaints that night. I wish I would have known since dinner was surely not worth $400 and I would have preferred to dine somewhere else. To add, I told the waiter I had a scallion allergy. I asked him to put all the scallions on the side so if others wanted them they could add it. I assumed everything was scallion free but I must have eaten something with a scallion since I was very sick that night .Very disappointing experience and makes me not want to return to Handle anytime soon.

Our experience at Handle was good in terms of service and atmosphere. The waiter was prompt and on top of things. The restaurant itself has a cool atmosphere. The food was good but in our experience a little overpriced for the quality of food you get. Nothing was bad and we were pleased with the food, especially the Sourdough with pork belly and the Market Shellfish, but have paid for equally good food for considerably less. Overall a good experience with our only complaint being pricing, enough so that we would probably not eat there a second time at current prices.

Great food! Fast service! Great staff. We have a home in Park city and love this restaurant. Sometimes it's tough to get into, but if you are able to get a reservation, this is an amazing restaurant..

Delicious food and great service. Went here as a group of 9 and our server was very informative and patient with us. She gave us great recommendations as to how many plates we should share as a group and which were favorited by guests. Pretty reasonable prices for all of us and left feeling very satisfied. Highly recommend the mushroom bolognese and cauliflower!

Our server Michael made our first time experience eating at Handle truly amazing. Food was great, cocktails were tasty, but Michaels personality and excellent customer service is what we cannot stop talking about.

Thank you for responding to my previously submitted review Meagan N. Our experience was diminished by the way you spoke to us but once we were seated we had no other issues. The fact that you said to us we can't ask a table to leave 25 minutes after delivering a check because we were afraid of a bad review speaks volumes.

I recently dined at Handle and while the food was great, the overall experience was unfortunately brought down by service from the hostess. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a hostess who escalated a minor disagreement into a uncomfortable situation. I watched as she yelled at my mother. It was upsetting. I don't care what the management says in response to my message, the hostess took a minor situation and made it a big problem. Why did she choose to elevate everything and treat my family with hostility? I will never get it. Once seated, the rest of the service from our waiter/waitress was positive. However, the initial poor impression from the hostess definitely cast a shadow on the evening. I would recommend Handle for the food, but would advise management to address the front-of-house hospitality. A welcoming and efficient hostess can set the tone for a great dining experience, and unfortunately, that was missing on this visit.

Very interesting menu. Wanted to try just about everything on the menu. We sure tried our best from cocktail to oysters to apps to salad to steaks to deserts. They were all excellent. It was not cheap but nothing in Park City is. Highly recommend Handle. Do make your reservation.

An overwhelmingly amazing experience. The food was out of this world and the service was amazing. Kandi was my server and was so knowledgeable and funny she made everyone at the table feel welcome and excited to eat. The front of house staff was kind and welcoming upon arrival and got us seated quickly even on a very busy night. The hamachi crudo was a family favorite I cant recommend handle enough!! Will definitely be back

My experience at Handle in Park City was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a hostess whose attitude bordered on outright hostility. Our group was placed in a completely separate dining area/space than the main restaurant. When I politely asked the hostess and waiter if we could relocate to the main room and that we wouldn't mind waiting until they had space available, she was dismissive and discourteous. As we were collecting our belongings to return to the line to wait for a main room table, the waitress stated that "she did her part and now to leave". We immediately left the restaurant per her "request"- and I am so glad we did. Rather than addressing our concerns with any modicum of professionalism, they were dismissive and displayed a blatant disregard for our satisfaction as customers. The overall unprofessionalism and offensive behavior displayed by the staff were utterly unacceptable. In conclusion, I cannot in good conscience recommend Handle to anyone considering dining in Park City. There are plenty of other establishments along Main Street with superior service and respect for their patrons.

So, I know everyone thinks they have had the best Brussel Sprouts before but those folks have obviously not had Handle Brussel sprouts- because THESE are the mac daddy of sprouts! The miso glaze and citrus flavors will dance in your mouth and you will wish you did not have to share them. The other food was really great too...but I am just sayin you have to get the Brussel sprout starter. I ordered the Mushroom Bolognese and it was the most unique pasta dish I've ever had...pasta perfection! Our server Quinn was so knowledgeable and made fantastic recommendations. This was our first visit to PC and we are glad we found this place as we will make sure we come back next ski trip!

Food was FANTASTIC. Literally couldn't put my fork down. Apps were all incredible, cauliflower and fish excellent, mushroom bolognese insane, crudo with peppers I loved, kale salad is order two, deserts yes. Would be a 5 star except for the service - felt like our server couldn't be more annoyed/bothered with us. Slamming plates down and reminding us that we couldn't split dishes. We get it, there's a nicer way to say it though.
