If you are looking for high quality baked goods (and some prepared meals (soups/sauces too), this is worth a visit. You can se the bakers hard at work in the back. Coffee and a pastry are a great combo here grab and go. Want sit down lunch - go to their sister cafe and enjoy 100 feet away. Pies and cakes look impressive. Note: cannoli are prefilled so I'd skip them.
We thought the bakery was great when we stopped in a year ago, but today we were disappointed. We went to grab dessert after eating next-door and got a chocolate raspberry tart and a vanilla cupcake. Both items were so cold we had to let them sit out for a couple hours before we could try the goods. There was not enough raspberry in the chocolate raspberry tart. The best desserts in the area. Freshly made, great variation, not oversugary and truly melting in the mouth. Welcoming and polite service. They are making you desire to come back for more!
