Cafe Rio Mexican Grill Reviews
Wow! I can see why this location has such bad reviews. This guy at the counter was completely clueless. He was at the bottom of the pan on rice and pork and was going to give us a few spoons fulls until we told him to get more. Obviously someone needs to step in and train these guys. App didn't work either.
Ordered grilled chicken, got some weird pork. When you drive 5 miles round trip your not impressed.

Cafe Rio Fresh Modern Mexican offers a variety of experiences for its customers. While some have reported questionable service, especially with online orders, others have praised the excellent food and attentive staff. The restaurant's cleanliness and thoughtful gestures, such as bringing a special plate of strawberries to a young customer, are also notable.
The manager's attention to detail, like being particular about the number of items in quesadillas, can sometimes seem overzealous, but the staff's willingness to accommodate requests like adding green sauce or Pico de Gallo is appreciated.
Recent reviews highlight some mixed experiences. One customer mentioned that the corn tortillas now have a salty seasoning that overpowers the signature flavor of the sweet pork salad, which may discourage a return if it is a permanent change. In contrast, another visit was very positive, with friendly staff, perfect portions, and a great overall experience, leading to plans to eat there again.
However, there was a disappointing drive-through experience where a customer ordered a smothered burrito/enchilada style with no pico, but received pico instead. They also didn't get dressing, guac, or cilantro, and had to add sour cream at home. After tasting the food, they found the tortilla stale and crumbly, which was quite disheartening. Overall, Cafe Rio continues to strive to provide fresh, modern Mexican cuisine, though individual experiences may vary.
