Edit: tried it again since it’s under new management. Disappointed still. Tried the chili cheese dog. Cheese wasn’t melted and the hotdog was cold. :/ Staff is definitely more friendly. Now If they can just fix the food. :/
I have been coming to this establishment for decades. Service here has really gone to crap. Food has definitely gone down hill. The last 3 times I've been here the food was mushy or our orders were wrong. The older workers are really unfriendly. Even when you call in you sit there for close to a half hour or longer even for small orders. Really disappointed lately. Really REALLY dissatisfied.

Love love love the hand dipped onion rings. Drove 700 miles to get these today!!
This is an update: I waited all day and drove 200 miles anticipating the wonderful onion rings that I love. But, to my much disappointment, they did not have any onions to make onion rings. I have tried other onion rings at other places, but none are as good as these! I will try them again the next time I'm in the area.

We came to get the big Steve, but the best they could do was a Western Cheeseburger without the onion ring. I have never eaten here before, but I found the food okay. Nothing to write home about. My friend told me that the burgers were the best in the state but I think that Burger Bar up in Roy is still the best in the state. Sorry!

I have been on the search for some good fried pickles. I decided to try Daley Freezes. They were definitely forgettable. The pickles were flimsy pickle slices that were barely battered. Definitely not worth the calories or money.

Locals love the fish and chips, which you can get with halibut or cod. The cheeseburger isnt great but the shakes, etc, are the real reason to eat here. Limited outdoor seating.

We got chicken fingers fries, onion rings, and a BLT. The food overall was three stars out of five. Not actively bad, but not good or great either. The fries were bland and not very crispy and the BLT was very normal. The ice cream was better, more like a four out of five starsthe staff were very kind and pleasant to us.

Got a lime ice cream and red velvet shake with a side of English chips and ranch. Everything was really good and the worker was kind. Got everything in a good amount of time considering how busy/short staffed they are. Price was fair

Best burger I have had in a while! We tried Daley freeze a few years ago and haven't been back, but decided to give it a try again. I had the Big Steve, bacon burger with a yummy onion ring, and my son has a cheese burger (shown in pic). When I showed my 16 yr old his burger, he said, "Why is it so fancy?" Because it wasn't just wrapped, smashed, and thrown in a bag. Best burger joint in Payson. Love the new owner he is amazing
