Overall this place was alright. It was our first time eating there. I was not a fan of the food at all. I had the tamale and it was rock hard on the bottom I was really bummed I was looking forward to a tamale. It was also pretty bland. The place is really run down but the staff was really really nice. I don't think I'll ever eat there again.

El Tapatio is a dependable Mexican restaurant that I’ve visited several times. The portions are generous, and the menu has plenty of options to choose from. Everything I’ve ordered has been flavorful and consistent. The atmosphere is relaxed, making it a comfortable place to sit down and enjoy a meal. Service has always been friendly and attentive. It’s a good place to go when you want a reliable sit-down meal without overthinking it.

The pineapple fajitas were practically a religious experience. My boyfriend and I split the fajitas and were both completely full and had enough leftovers for another large serving the next day. Everything was perfectly cooked and served pretty quickly even though every table was full. It’s been a week and this place has come up almost every day since we visited so we’ll definitely be coming back even though it’s a little out of the way. Also, it was only $22 for the meal...
