“Maddox has been one of our favorite drive inns for many years. Love the Steak sandwich. we also order the chicken basket. Today the service was great the steak sandwich was wonderful, however we found the chicken breast came in much smaller (1/2) the usual size. Our friends had told us this what they experience as well. Prices have gone up like everywhere else, but chicken was a disappointment.”

“My son and some friends decided to mountain bike from North Fork to Mantua. They took a lot longer than they expected and didn't bring enough food or water for the trip that turned out to be longer than they expected. We picked them up in Mantua and took them all down to the Dairy Queen for burgers and shakes. They devoured their food and all felt much better. I grabbed a burger as well and it was absolutely delicious even without having expenses all of my energy. We will be back.”

“Visiting my son in Utah from Southern California near the Mexicali, Mexico border. I was told that this bakery/restaurant had authentic Mexican food (which my sons misses). I had to go and try for myself…. And yes! talk about bringing Mexico’s authentic flavors to Brigham City, UT My son has found his favorite Mex restaurant and as for me, I’ll be back. Employees was super nice and make everyone feel welcome. Loved it!!”

“We travel from Boise to Ogden often, and we have officially found our new favorite Mexican go-to. This isn't just a meal; it’s an experience where you can taste the authenticity and love in every bite.

We ordered the Tampiqueña plate, which was a massive spread of carne asada, a chile relleno, a mole enchilada, fresh guacamole, pico, rice, and beans. Every single component was incredible—no shortcuts on flavor here. The horchata was also clearly made with real, fresh ingredients.
The atmosphere is perfect: small, local, and feels like home. Between the urban Mexican music, the sounds of a busy kitchen, and the laughter of other guests, it’s such a vibe. I especially loved seeing the framed photo of their first guests and their first dollar by the entrance. It shows how much they care about their roots.

The service was proactive and incredibly friendly. In fact, I was so busy raving about the service in my head that I accidentally walked out with my horchata cup still in my hand! I was so distracted by the deliciousness that I didn't realize it until I got to the car.

“I’m from Ogden! Up here the locals are still country and good people. The food is delicious killer Breakfast good lunch,dinner. Unlike most places you can go in for a cup of coffee and a piece of pie. With a waitress who is kind and friendly. In my opinion it’s worth the drive just to get out of Ogden area. People are friendly and respectful unlike the ignorant people in Ogden. Just telling it like it is. Ps try it. Oh the pancakes are bomb so try this establishment.”

“Worth the drive from Salt Lake County. Call ahead if you have any special food allergies, my gluten free friend was well taken care of. I had the Pad King, ginger and garlic, veggetables cooked to perfection, with pork. Wonton were crisp and warm and gooey in all the right ways. We had the Tom Kha Gai, cocunut soup; our tastebuds were continually finding new joys. Thank you Jacob (JJ) and Ryan!”

“My go-to place for delicious pizza that doesn't break the bank! I love the Brigham Location. They are always friendly and fast! I ordered 4 family sized pizzas and they came with tons of toppings! My order was ready in 30 minutes (on a Friday night no less!) and I had hot pizza, fresh out of my oven 30 minutes later. It was a win for everyone!
Update: Today my favorite pizza place was so busy! They didn't have my pizza ready when I came, but Tiane was so polite and professional. She checked on me and then hand delivered the pizzas to my parking spot with a smile. Still my favorite pizza place. Best service, best price, best food!”

“My husband and I stopped at Bert's Family Cafe and Grill on 9/15/2024 for breakfast. Service was warm and inviting and fast! I had the sausage & biscuits, hash browns, & poached eggs.
