We went to Guru's Cafe as a big family group after a college graduation. They took really good care of us, though they were fairly busy at the time. Their menu has a good variety that suited everyone in the group. The food was delicious, and the portions were generous. They also have amazing desserts of all kinds, which several people in the group enjoyed. The decor is also very eclectic and interesting. This is my wife's favorite restaurant in Provo. Highly recommend!
The food was just…meh. Not terrible, but not great. The suspicions of a menu with too many different food options making the food mediocre were right.
I got the steak quesadilla, and the steak kind of tasted like roast beef…which is not what you want when expecting steak. The Cobb salad was OK. The queso and chips was OK. I tried the peanut Thai pasta as well, also just OK.
Nobody in my large group were that impressed with their meals....

Ordered the Reuben and was solidly disappointed. Rye was more like a Kaiser roll and crunchy(?)
Cheese was unmelted and more a ‘hot’ sandwich it was barely room temp
Sweet potato fries were out of this world however
