I was honestly nervous to try this apple barrel because the last one i went too was to expensive and it was absolutely as low of a place you could imagine the food was dry you could hear the cooks yelling etc. Sapp brothers themselves were absolutely amazing... so coming here i was really nervous to try it again... but to my surprise not only was it a friendly environment our waitress was prompt and very friendly and it helped make coming here absolutely worth it... my steak was...

As good as any Denny's or IHOP. Don't let the rough exterior scare you off... Good as any place to stop. I will admit I was less than excited when it was my friends turn to pick our lunch spot and out of everywhere in SLC she picked a truck stop!I didn't catch our waitress's name, but she's a classic diner waitress's in her 60's with grey ponytail and gave us the whole "morning Hun" experience. Very clean. Walked in 5 minutes before the kitchen closed and Carrie rushed to get my order in. It was very custom for keto and delivered perfectly. Carrie was friendly despite the hour and the chef even hoped my food was good on his way out. I really needed this today!
