Took quite some time to get our orders taken and when our drinks were empty it took a while to get them refilled. All in the party received their food but one and once that food came out everyone was nearly finished eating. The table wanted dessert but wasn't offered any so we went next door for ice cream.
This is the second time I've been to Avenues Proper recently where we had to wait a long time to be seated despite having a reservation and despite the restaurant not being very full. Not sure if they are just understaffed or what, but we had a reservation for 7 and had to stand and wait until 7:20 to be seated at a table. And the hostess seems to have NO sense of urgency despite multiple parties waiting to be seated. The restaurant shouldn't take reservations if they...
The food was good. We had looked at the menu before making a reservation, but apparently it had been updated but not posted on the web. So, the item we came in to have is no longer available.
