Barbacoa Mexican Grill

I have not been to this location in years. I remember a much more pleasant and inviting atmosphere. It now seems like they are closing down. No menus, counters empty. Empty is a good adjective to describe the interior.
The food, chicken burrito, was great as I remember.
Staff just seem to be putting in their hours.
I remember a more engaging staff behind the counter. This is sad to me.
I will most likely not come back to this location.

Food is good and people are nice as always! Very upset that the AC isn’t fixed. I worked in food and it’s against codes to have people working in an environment over 80 degrees. That’s so not ok and not ok to your employees. It’s been like that for a month now… seriously!???

I ordered a bowl and it was almost inedible. It was cold, the vegetables were raw, the beans weren't done well enough and to make matters worse, it had zero flavor. I tried to add some salt and hot sauce to make it okay enough to eat but ended up tossing it out.

Food is good but pretty pricey, the servers who made the food and give it to us were very uncordial. They weren't rude or nice just kind of like to the point I would say more than you would expect when you're going there to get food. I guess it kind of reminded me of going through another feline and a hospital where people don't really want to be there they're just there to serve you anyway.
For the most part the food is good and the restaurant was very clean and nice.

Vegetarian options: Their salad is pretty good if you buy it as a meal that comes with lettuce beans and multiple toppings. It's one of the main things I like to get here. The large salad will fill up two more people or one person who likes to eat a lot.. lol

It's a solid burrito. This is one of those healthy places, I think? Not as much heavy cream and sweetened sauces. But still a solid good burrito. That's what I always get when working up in this area.

I've fallen in love with this place for taste and convenience! I love their burritos and have had every meat choice at this point and like them all. You can see them slow cooking when you visit so you know it's going to be good. Also, the main reason I wanted to leave a review is this place is so neat, clean, and tidy every time I go. A lot of burrito places can't say the same and have more of a grungy feel. This is their enchilada style burrito which was also very good. Still more items I need to try!

I've been eating good burritos here for 15 years and the quality hasn't gone down like cafe rio. Also the price is still pretty fair.

I have been coming here almost weekly for a couple of years. Always had a great experience...until today. I always get vegetarian burritos, and they have always...every single time...let me have extra beans AND fajita vegetables in place of the meat. All the sudden today the kid who claimed he was in charge, yet whom I have very rarely seen working there (Caesar), said I could not have both. I explained that I had been given both without comment literally 100 times. He said this shouldn't have happened and would not do it. I questioned how he could be so stingy? Meat cost FAR more than a scoop of beans and a few vegetables. He wasn't interested. I told him he would have to throw it out then, which he did. I told him "you just lost a very good customer over 20 cents of vegetables". He said "Fine, leave, I don't care, there is a Cafe Rio right down the road you can try." I said a few choice words about his horrible customer service and left. I will never go back.

Sweet pork is to die for. Although it's not very consistent. Once in a while it will have a little less flavor. Like they accidentally put too much water or something.
