Scottish pub? has a few Scottish themed decor, mixed in with random things , food is Scottish. They had 2 choices for scotch and it was not a great selection and lower end. They had 2 choices of Scottish ale , but they are local. They need to add some ale from Scotland to the mix. Great service the chips that came with the fish and chips are amazing.the fish was a little soggy and not crispy. The music was very random , it went from rock to rap to Disney , very little Scottish...
This is just a sports bar. There is nothing Scottish Pub-like about it besides a couple things on the walls. Food and service were great, but only high top tables, and not cozy like a pub should be. The bathrooms also need an update. I don't live downtown, so I probably won't be back.
I love coming to the Bruce because Tall Justin otherwise known as “white chocolate” always takes good care of us. He is knowledgeable when it comes to drinks and is fun to chat with. He deserves a raise!
