Wonderful evening with friends. We were puzzling over some wine tasting flights when we were joined by the sommelier. I have been going to BTG for maybe 8 years and had no idea they had an in-house sommelier. Indeed they do. We had a great time getting the download on dozens of wines, all of which he knew intimately. Another gem in the city!! Delicious bar snacks… the focaccia and burratta was out of this world. But the eggplant meatballs were the real star of the show. Unbelievable texture and flavor. The three of us wished we brought Yahtzee so we could’ve just chilled all night. The wine flights are awesome and the staff is super knowledgeable with great recommendations. We ordered a few different things, and they were quite salty with a heavy hand on the garlic. I didn’t mind it, but my boyfriend isn’t the biggest fan of garlic. He also ordered his steak medium rare, but it came out well done, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, probably not ideal for a full dinner, but great for pairing with wine and a cheese plate.
