Really good hole in the wall feel. Most breakfast places in slc on a weekend are so packed but this felt like a little secret. Really great interior design, food was so good too.

Super cute little restaurant. It's right behind the B&B in the cottage house. Order at the counter and choose a seat abs they'll deliver it to you. The Johnnycake skillet was amazing and very filling. Their drinks are delicious and super cute. It's small so hot aren't talking over a million people which is nice. I can't wait to visit in the spring and sit outside!

This is a bed and breakfast that operates some days a week only. They have a limited menu but it is delicious. The staff is friendly but sometimes because they have a small kitchen takes forever to get the food. Street partying is available around. The prices are somewhat okay. Flavors are excellent. Avocado toast was excellent, the patio is pretty, and the customer service is unparalleled. Try their French toast!

Cafe 140B is a charming breakfast and lunch spot that could be one of the best in SLC. However, I left more than a little disappointed after my visit today and I will share my six concerns. 1. The menu is great but when hot food is delivered to the table cold then it just isn’t as good as it could be. 2. Pricing is really high for what you get. 3. Service was poorly timed as two avocado toasts were served over 15 minutes after the Johnny cake. 4. Being given 18,20 and 25% tip options when all that the server did was deliver a plate seems excessive. We had to clear our table from the group before, get our own silver, and self serve water was never found. 5. I love dogs and often bring mine for patio seating where allowed. However, I don’t think indoor pet seating is legal in SLC and they sure didn’t act like other trained service animals I have known. 6. It was a chilly day and the two workers kept leaving the doors opened when they went outside. I understand the need to come and go with a tray. But just walking away from a wide open door will chill the small seating area to the point of discomfort when it is 35 outside. I had to either ask the staff to close the door or do it myself on multiple occasions.

Cute little weekend cafe in the Avenues. It's on the property of a BnB but in a little house in the back. It has two (little) levels of seating and was absolutely popping on a Sunday morning. Servers were kind, service itself was a reasonable amount of time. Would recommend if you want to go to a cafe on the weekend in SLC.

The setting is very nice. The food though is mediocre and bland. Everyone in my group ordered a meal and drink and left hungry

Terrific, my favorite spot I’ve ever dined at in Salt Lake. This is your very own French or Italian road cafe that creates the intimate feeling of having just completed a Michelin tour and now you’re going to enjoy a cappuccino and baked good nestled between two brown brick cottages.

Such a cute place. Lovely outdoor sitting space plus an adorable table setup inside the carriage house. Hard to believe such a nice place would have such reasonable prices!

Not very busy at noon on the day we went so feels like a bit of a hidden gem.

Pro tip: spoil yourself or your K9 companion with their bougie pup cup

Parking: Parking in the neighborhood. Seemed to be plenty on the west side of B St

Vibes are off the charts at Cafe 140B. Perfect mix of self-serve and attentive friendly service. Tried the cottage cakes, brûlée French toast, and peach cobbler, all of it incredible. Coffees and Teas were all delicious as well. The owner was such a pleasure to interact with as well and that made my experience here all the better.

If I lived in SLC I’d be here every weekend. Thank you, Cafe 140B!!!

A cute open air carriage house serving delicious food. They've got some fairly basic coffees and teas, which are also very good. Best iced coffee I've had near the Avenues! The upstairs is open and air conditioned if it gets a bit warm.

We got there 30 minutes before closing and they wouldn’t take our order because the kitchen was too slammed 1.5 ago …? Looked cute, I would have liked to have ordered and tried anything… also half the tables were still empty so make it make sense! Let a woman order
