Cafe expresso is hands down the best coffee shop in salt lake. Dare I say the best coffee shop I have ever been to. Their espresso is always bold and rich and smooth. They use the perfect amount of ice. They are quick and friendly. Their chocolate beans are amazing. But seriously their coffee is just exceptional. They routinely improve my day and quality of life.

We visited from Eastern Wa, I was a bit apprehensive of the line but saw later that there was 2 lanes, AND the lines were going by so fast. The lady taking orders by memory very confident too! Great fast tasty service.

This family owned spot has the best coffee! We always get it when we are in town visiting. Staff have always been friendly and with drinks involving chocolate (think mocha) they give you an espresso bean treat :)

Well, if you count a muffin or cookie, homemade qualty...yummy...then it is a yes for food. I love their coffee! It is simply my favorite of any place in Salt Lake. The customer service has always been excellent. It is a drive thru, and they are very efficient. The sweetener of our choice is Equal, and they don't carry it. Very few places do since Covid. We carry our own with us ...so there is no problem with that!

I love Caffe Expresso. I’m a bit of a coffee snob and there are few places where I like the coffee as much as or more than the coffee I make at home, and this is high on the list. Not only does it get big points for convenience (opens very early and has a drive through), they make legitimately good coffee. I typically get an oat milk latte and it’s solid. Sometimes I get a zucchini bran muffin and it’s like a little heavenly moist mini zucchini Bundt cake, which is awesome.

I LOVE the vibe here. All the baristas are extremely friendly and make my drinks to perfection. Never go by the whale without a stop here.
