When I was a little girl, my grandma would bring us each an eclair from Carol's Pastry Shop. I now have grandchildren of my own and love that I can continue this wonderful tradition!

I ordered a blueberry pie for my birthday, it was below mediocre. The bottom crust was super thin, and none of the crust was flaky. The filling was canned and way too runny. I couldn't even cut pieces, it was just a mess. The crumb topping was like powder. It was a very disappointing birthday pie, I won't be ordering another. The eclaires were average.

We visited Carol's today for the first time on our quest for pie on this pi day (3/14/24). The shop is located down a narrow alley so we parked on the street (free parking). 15 yards later was the shop, looking quite unassuming. Inside the client area is small - this is clearly a pick-up-and-leave place with no seating (fine with us). The gentleman at the counter was super kind and friendly as he helped us pick out adorable mini pies. I forget all the flavors but they include raspberry, apple, key lime, apricot. We also bought two eclairs as they are my son's favorite and ate those as soon as we got home. Holy moly those were DEVINE. I am so excited to try the pies tonight after dinner. They bake fresh bread and rolls on Saturdays so I'll be back to pick some up! 6 pies and 2 eclairs for under $15. I've paid $7+ for an inferior eclair at other bakeries. Try this out, you won't be disappointed!

Wanted to love it, love the show.. we got a slice of rainbow cake from Walmart.. the frosting was way to sweet, cake had no real flavoring. But it looked good.

It’s a hidden gem!! An authentic, small town, homemade type pastry shop.Have yet to find a shop like Carols Bakery. I love this place & their mini pies , my favorite !!

The younger girl there made it seem very inconvenient that she had to service walk-ins for the counter pastries and the pastries were not fresh. I grew up in a bakery with a grandmother who owned one. The eclairs were not made fresh at or near my visit at 11am. Sometimes, businesses get to big of a head to care about their bread and butter locals and could care less of your business or not. That's sad to see a Utah proud bakery neglect their history.

A historic landmark...with food. Great combination. The staff here are friendly and helpful. The baaked goods are spectacular. Beware of impulse purchases because you'll definitely see something extra you buy to snack on. Everything is fresh and made right before your eyes.

The [mini] eclairs are my favorite. Have you ever wandered into a place and felt comforted. The moment you walk into this bakery you feel like a giant hug from your grandmother. Just thinking of this bakery brings a tear to my eye. I only have amazing memories of this place. Definitely need to visit and visit often. Did I mention the [mini] eclairs are my favorite?

I have always loved Carol's bakery. Always get the eclairs ans one or two other treats. The last few times the eclairs aren't fill much with the cream. I see that the new generation has stepped in to run the bakery which is wonderful. While eating the eclair it was 3 bites without the cream. At first I thought it was an empty shell. Looking at the hollow shell I saw that there was maybe a teaspoon or two of the filling. Hope they are just on a learning curve. Will try again.
