Yes, this place is open! But only if you visit M-Th from 11-3. I've been wanting to visit for years, but like other reviewers, I have found the hours difficult to manage with my schedule. Until today! I have been missing not having a good catfish option in SLC. So I was very excited to find the catfish at Faces to be really good! Everything on the menu is a la carte. I ordered catfish and fries, which came to around $11. Other side options are coleslaw and corn, but they were out of coleslaw when I visited. I really enjoyed my catfish. It was cooked perfectly, crisp on the outside and juicy and tender inside. I was disappointed in the tartar sauce, which tasted stale, but it didn't overshadow how great the catfish was. The fries were average, but probably better than what I could make at home. Faces isn't really an eat-in kind of place, so I will probably take my order to go next time. But I will definitely be back!

I am from Hattiesburg Mississippi and my fiancee is from California and both of us have been cooking for a long time. I have been cooking soul food since the beginning of time. My fiancee is also a certified chef and both of us in the kitchen together (Watch out Utah)...........

Wow, I'm from way out of town and working near by. I don't eat fish but maybe 3 times a year. The catfish poboy was amazing. Sweet tea was the full southern experience.
It's open!! It's so good!!! The cat fish is so legit!!! I plan on making this a regular since I live close by. It's going to be one of my winter go to places.

Killer catfish. Cooked to perfection. Just add lemon juice (wedges provided upon request) and the doctored hot sauce and you're good to go. Can be ordered as a platter (with buttered toast) or as a po-boy. Delish. Thanks, kind folks. I'll be back often.
