A Must-Visit for Pastry Lovers

I recently visited Granary Bakehouse and tried both their croissant and scone, and I have to say, the croissant is one of the best I’ve ever had. Having been to hundreds of bakeries across North America and Europe, this one stands at the top. The croissant is incredibly flaky with layers that melt in your mouth. The buttery flavor is just right—rich but not overwhelming—with a subtle hint of sweetness that balances it perfectly. It’s truly a standout pastry and a must-try for any croissant lover. I highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

Granary Bakehouse is an absolute treasure. The croissant I had was divine—flaky, buttery, and just the right amount of crispness. It's easily one of the best I've had in the city. Ok, it is the best one. I am very specific about my croissants.

I also tried their bagels, which are perfectly chewy with a crust, just the way a bagel should be. They know what they are doing.

And don’t even get me started on the scones—they are out of this world! Moist, flavorful, and not too sweet, not too soft either. A real scone. I hope more coffee shops around the valley will source their scones out of here.

No espresso bar, just caffeinated drip coffee. Decent choice selection. Tasted okay.

Everything I’ve ever had at granary bakehouse has been incredibly delicious. My favorites (can’t choose just one!) are the almond croissants, mushroom tarts and the challah.

Love having Granary Bakehouse in the neighborhood. While it’s a smaller selection, everything we’ve tried has been wonderful. The olive sourdough loaf is out of this world. Prices are fair and staff are lovely. We used to frequent Tulie, but since trying Granary for the first time a while back, we’ve shifted pretty much exclusively to Granary based on quality, price, and staff. Can’t wait to go again!

10/10. Amazing croissants, I love that they don’t over bake them like a lot of other places, I love them soft/ flakey. and gooey and buttery. So good. I tried all the croissant varieties and they’re all the best I’ve had.
