I really wanted to give this a 5 star but after driving from Lehi (didn't know you have a shop out south) we arrived at 4:25 only to find that you can't order from the grill and I traveled that far to have a pastrami sandwich and they had cleaned the grill. The hours are 5:00pm close, so if you want the full menu I would arrive at 4:00pm or earlier. Saw your add on social media.

Unknown meat on cheesesteak, inedible without all the condiments, definitely not being grilled fresh in the back, I assume comes from a bucket, going cheapest meat to purchase at deli is not recommended, people aren’t that stupid

I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying Gaetano’s Sub Shop’s food since they opened. Their sandwiches are fresh and hella scrumptious, the service is friendly and prompt, and the atmosphere is relaxing and laid back. I highly suggest both this location and their Murray location. Once you go, you’ll likely crave it and return regularly like I do!!! ??

I absolutely love this place. I have been there multiple times, and tried different things on the menu and I have not been disappointed. The employees have all been so nice each time I’ve gone, and it’s always clean there. 10/10 recommend this place to everyone I know :)

I want to like this place really bad. Good vibes, food prepared to order, friendly service.
I got the “wasatch” cheeseburger sub with bacon and pastrami. I’m not going to lie to you, on the 10” sub you get 3 strips of pastrami and 3 strips of bacon. The bacon was crispy but the pastrami was dry. The burger patties had bone or something crunchy in them. It was a huge turn off. Using freshly ground beef instead of preformed low quality patties would result in a much better product.
Gaetanos is good for the area, not a lot of competition for a solid hot sub around here. But they could definitely put out a better product if they wanted to. However, for a burger you have better local options, for cold cuts you have the legend around the corner.
Up your meat quality and I’ll leave a substantially better review

We've lived in Salt Lake City for 7 years now and are just now discovering this place! I consider myself a sandwich lover. And I mean I have tried all the sandwich shops in Salt Lake City area, even all the way to Draper a d up to Ogden area. This is the very best sandwich shop I've ever ordered a sandwich from! Like, EVER. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STOP IN AND GET YOURSELF A SANDWICH, ASAP! I order the ham, turkey and roast beef. It was large enough for my husband and I to split it. The jalapeno poppers are also amazing. I wish I would have took a picture before we ate it! We ordered it around 4:00 and waited till 6. I can't imagine how much better it would have tasted had we actually eaten it right when I ordered it. But since they close at 5:00 PM, I decided to order early for dinner. We were craving a sandwich and I drive past this sandwich shop all the time on my way to the beer store in Costco. I am so glad I decided to stop here today! I guess I'll be back to order another sandwich sometime this week! I'll be sure to take a picture this time.✨
Curtis is the best guy. Freshest ingredients. Best subs hands down, regardless of what you choose on the menu.
