Best Nepalese and Indian food in Salt Lake. The owner and his family are incredibly kind. Highly recommend eating in!

A group of 10, we went for Thanksgiving Day! Food was great, service efficient and friendly.
Chicken Titkka Masala, Saag, Goat Cheese Vegetable Cocunut Curry, rice, a cauliflower dish, and Garlic Naan and other dishes - all foods were seasoned well, served at correct temps, and shared family style. It was great.

I tried the Saag Chicken, vegetable rice, and tandoori roti with mint chutney. All the dishes were delicious, and the portions were generous. The restaurant was clean, and the view outside offered a nice glimpse of downtown Salt Lake City.

We enjoyed our meal at Himalayan Kitchen. I don't recall having had a Nepali meal before. If so, it was long in the past and I've forgotten it. It was a treat to try chicken momos and a dish of lamb noodles, two dishes my dining partner and I shared, with a basket of delicious naan. Our friends who had butter chicken and lamb korma said both were wonderful, too.
This restaurant is conveniently located if you're visiting Salt Lake and staying at a hotel in the center of the city. If you arrive by car, you may find parking a challenge at some times of day, though we had no problems finding a parking space between 5-6 P.M. last evening.

As a first timer in Utah, we were looking for the Nepali food option and found this Gem. The food was beyond our expectation. Every food we ordered was at point. Hands down to best Jhol MOMO ever. Highly recommended for people who wants to try good Nepali food with good atmosphere.

We went to this restaurant for the first time. We ordered samosas, vegetarian momo, chicken jhol momo, and milk tea. Everything was delicious and freshly made. As a first timer at Salt Lake City, the food reminded us home. I took a picture but after we ate. You can see how we have cleaned our plate. Highly recommended for good food and good service.
It tastes just like food in Kathmandu.

This place in SLC is a must if you're looking for Indian food. We were there for a casual business dinner. Service, food, flavors... all exceeded expectations, which were pretty high given all the other reviews!
