Where else you enjoy great BBQ inside a meat locker dining room. Great smokey flavor.

Mom and pop type place. I had the smoked chicken and ribs. Both meats were delicious. I’m from Louisiana and I know BBQ/smoked meats well. Even the building has history. Part of the dinning was a meat hanging area from another time. Really a cool place.

The half chicken and barbecue sauce that they have is probably my favorite by far!! i'm still gonna try to eat everything on their menu!! if you love barbecue you need to try this place out!!!! 10 0ut 10!!!
Best BBQ in UT!! Forget about R&R and all those other chain food “bbq” restaurants. They suck. Go to Kaiser’s! You get hooked up with the amount too.

They have a reaaaaaally small menu on their back door I came by to check out once. The lady very rudely said they were closed, which I was aware of. Won’t be trying it
Being a Texan who is visiting I was very excited to see a TX themed BBQ place in SLC. Especially since I’m an avid BBQ lover. Ordered a two meat plate and some fixins. Sliced brisket and Ribs. Meat was cooked pretty great actually. You can tell low & slow cook. However they didn’t use any salt/pepper/seasoning/rub at all because it was extremely bland. Almost no bark on it at all. I couldn’t even eat it past a few bites. Wasted my hard earned money. I would strongly suggest you talk to any Texan who can send you some rub or other seasoning to put on your meats guys. Do not recommend at all. The Mac and cheese should just be called Mac because there was little to no cheese at all. At least put some pepper in it to taste good.

My girlfriend and I had driven past this place a hundred times and away wanted to try it. Finally decided to pull the trigger. Was not disappointed. It’s such a cute little place with a good amount of history. Staff was super warm and inviting. She told us the story of the building and the owner. My family lives in Texas, so I’ve had a lot of good BBQ over the years and this place definitely lives up to the Texas name. Best BBQ spot in Utah that I’ve been to!

This place is a solid 4.75. Shared a 3- meat plate and the half-chicken plate as recommended by the server with spicy sausage, sliced beef and ribs. Every meat was done perfectly, with the shining stars being the chicken and sausage. They lost the 5 star on the sides. The potato salad was good, but the mac'n'cheese and baked beans were mostly flavorless. Such a simple thing to add some scrap meat to the beans or a little mild green chiles or bacon to the Mac to elevate them to extraordinary.
