Koyo offers excellent food and service at good prices. The Udon noodles are particularly praised, with soft and chewy noodles in a flavorful soup base. While vegetarian options are limited, the restaurant caters well to pescatarians with a large selection of seafood dishes. The atmosphere is nice and quiet, with tables enclosed on three sides for a private feel. They have a mixture of traditional and western seating, and the subdued lighting is perfect. The food truly shines, with dishes being good enough to make eyes roll back. The wait time was worth it. The restaurant is kid-friendly for quiet children and has a few steps leading into the establishment for wheelchair accessibility. They offer katsudon and oyakodon, which are excellent and priced very well. The service is great, and the atmosphere is genuine Japan-style. Koyo is a favorite for traditional Japanese food. The takeout service is perfect. The sushi, specifically basic rolls like the 9 bucker and 10 bucker, are great. The house salad and dressing are also really good.
