Nice, quiet atmosphere. Tables are enclosed on 3 of the 4 sides, giving a very private and personal feel. They have a mixture of traditional seating and western style seating. The lighting is subdued to that perfect sweet spot where you can still see clearly, but it isn't bright. The atmosphere is nearly flawless.

The food, however, is where this place truly shines. Not a single dish disappointed, and a handful of them were good enough to make my eyes roll...
Dropped by for lunch today. First time in this restaurant. It reminded me of family restaurants in the small towns outside of Tokyo from about twenty years ago. We ordered katsudon and oyakodon. Excellent! Priced very well, too. The service was great and the atmosphere was genuine Japan-style. Koyo is my new favorite for traditional Japanese food.
Pros:
Been here a few times and food is consistently phenomenal - not fusion sauce heavy type, it’s the fresh, can taste all ingredients, traditional Japanese style deliciousness.
Price is affordable compared to the average Japanese restaurant.
Highly recommend these dishes: shake-tofu, okonomiyaki, mars sushi (raw tuna, warm, melts in mouth), smart roll (note: everything including salmon is cooked, but tasty), cold sake.

Cons:
