Was excited to see a Kura location open up here. I've been to the chandler arizona one a few times. Always a good experience with the atmosphere and it's great for kids due to the robot servers and prizes you can win from eating 15 plated and 25 plates. The interactive screen sends you on a quest. It is nice here but one server didn't even know what eel sauce/ unagi was 🤔 but maybe they were new. Seems like a staple must know lol the food as usual though is sub par when it comes to actual sushi quality and presentation. Taste is mediocre as well. You can order something from the screen vs just the belt going around as well. Plan to spend 100 bucks if eating the 25 plates. The nigiri selection is probably the best option here but every piece I had the rice fell apart instantly sadly.
Might come again but if spending the money on sushi go somewhere else. This place is more about just the dining experience.

I went here for my birthday celebration and the server name is juju, she is not professional at her job. She is very mean. And I saw her abuse to another co worker in my own eyes.

The sushi was good, but on the small side. Would be nice to have more plate color price options. The service and belt were fun.

Went with a friend just the other day and was around 5 pm before the big dinner rush. A waiter stated we’d be seated two, but his coworkers who were sitting guests were busy discussing something so he escorted us to our seats immediately. He explained how to order and polite. Everything was so delicious! I got a variety of sushi, between my friend and I we ate about 15 plates each, both for a prize and our bill was around $140, so we split it and honestly the price was worth it.
The friend yellowtail cheek was crunchy, not dry at all, I wish the lemon wedge was bigger but it was still delicious! The little robot who brings drinks is playing music whenever they rolled by.
Also, I should note my friend did order the avocado mayo roll, but didn’t like it due to too much mayo. A waitress noticed as she was taking our trash and said to hold onto a plate and she would remove the item from our bill. In her words “It isnt right to charge you if you didn’t like it.” She totally didn’t have to but she did!
Everyone working says “いらっしゃいませ!” - “Welcome!” Whenever someone new comes in, it’s charming.
Bathrooms are super clean! The bidet was an experience and I want one for myself.
I HIGHLY recommend this place, it come early as the line gets super long! It was out and going down the side when my friend and I left at around 6:30 pm

Went there for a party of 7 for my daughter’s birthday as per her requests. Seen some TikTok n iG videos of the place popping up, good reviews, and looks to be cool spot to try. Got there at 6:10pm on a Saturday, and got on the reservation list. We waited until 7:40 😰 until they had seatings for 4 and 3 next to each other.
Don’t bother coming if you have a party of higher than 4 people. This place doesn’t have the seating capacity for bigger parties. Unless you want to be spread out in different sections.
The atmosphere was nice and cool. Waiter/Waitress robot was cool site to see. We was seated 6th or 7th booth on the conveyor belt way. We’d see the tray on the other side and looks great to grab, but by time it got to our seat section it was already taken. Most time we ordered it on the above touch screen. My Adult and teenage kids was hungry for waiting hour and half. So one table ate 34 plates, and my table next to them ate 37 plates. At almost $4 a small plate it added up. Ended up spending about $400 for all 7 of us. Came to about $58/person for my tables.
Waiters were great and they did their job well, but this dimsum style sushi plate is a little expensive for the portions. Plate presentation was good, and flavor and choices was good. Sushi was freshly made as it was being consumed every rotation. I wouldn’t call this high end sushi, but it was ok/good. This place is a great conversation and FB/iG/tiktok posts, but probably wouldn’t go there again on an empty stomach.

A truly earned 5 star review. I've never been a big sushi guy but this place blew me away. Absolutely stellar quality sushi. My Fiance was also completely in love with the sushi, particularly the salmon nigiri. They have a significant variety that creates serious FOMO initially but once you realise the frequency, it wears off. There is an easy system if you decide to order something specific, and it will be delivered promptly on a separate conveyor.
The service was great. I never felt pressured or over-attended by the staff. They did a great job explaining the system but never hovered or checked in too much. Many places I'd rather just be left alone to eat with occasional visits, and this place caters to that desire.
I will be returning, hopefully with some friends. Thank you for the amazing food :)

Literally no sushi rotating. Server told us if we were not at table #1 where it comes from the kitchen, we’re basically screwed. A complete disappointment and waste of time. We left.
This place is a gem! The rotating sushi bar setup is fun, efficient, and keeps the dining experience exciting from start to finish. Everything I tried was fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. The variety was impressive—whether you’re into classic rolls, nigiri, or something more adventurous, there’s something for everyone.
The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of without hovering. I especially appreciated how clean and well-organized everything was, from the conveyor system to the seating.
If you’re a sushi lover or just want a unique and enjoyable dining experience, Great Revolving Sushi Bar is absolutely worth checking out. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Been to the one in Vegas and I'm glad it's finally here in Utah. Wide selection of sushi to choose from and they have a cool robot that serves you drinks! If you don't like sushi, they also have beef and chicken options.

We visited one of these in Japan and it was so fun. This location is smaller and the prize dispenser is basic compared to the Tokyo one. But, overall a great sushi place with pros and cons:
+Tokyo in Utah!
+Fun to take food off the belt and try many items
+Fun prize memento if you eat enough
+Drink robot is novel
+Some of the items were very delicious
+My family said the Taiyaki was a highlight
+”いらっしゃいませ “
-On the pricier side
-Cramped and busy
-Tempura was heavier and greasier than Japan
-No Japanese soda 😣
-Sometimes the menu item looked a bit different than the one on the conveyor belt so we accidentally quick ordered a couple of things we’d already tried
-Tables can only fit 4 max
It was so fun to bring my family and have them experience a taste of my Japan trip. ❤️ Please bring more to Utah!
The experience is cool. However, the sushi goes around from one side of the restaurant to the other. If youre seated on the left side, by the time the containers get to you theyre all empty, as you can see. So u have to place a custom order, which costs more even tho u only get 4 rolls. Paid 127 for 2 adults/2 kids. Worth trying but a bit overpriced.

Glad we finally have a Kura in Utah. Not glad I got food poisoning after eating there.

Its definitely in line with the Kura Sushi brand; you can choose from the pad or take from the conveyor belt.
I came in around lunchtime, seated quickly, but the iPad was not able to take drink orders; used the QR code instead...but the phone ordering system said limited items so I was bouncing between the iPad and phone to do orders which was a bit frustrating.
Food was good, and employees were actively checking on guests for refills, and cleaning up plates. Staff was also quick to do a good cleaning of a table or booth to get it turned around for the next person/group.
Quality of food was also good; no odd smells or taste. Everything looked fresh. Good variety of menu items overall.
Restrooms were also very clean, pleasant smell, and Not overrun with used paper towels.
