First time trying Ethiopian food, and I will definitely be back. Had the taste of mahider for two, and it could have easily fed 3 or 4 people, so make sure you are hungry or you'll be taking some home.

If you haven't had Ethiopian food before, I think you should give it a try, and this is probably the best place in Salt Lake to get some, tho there are some decent other restaurants. The sampler platters are the way to go. They also have quite good coffee. Not a great place for people who can't handle strongly spiced food, I guess.

This was my first intro to Ethiopian cuisine and it is amazing!! I recommend the Taste of Mahider dish to sample all the yummy foods. The portion for two was more than enough and we have delicious leftovers.

One of my favorite places to go when I'm in town. We ordered the Taste of Mahider for 3 people and it was huge. It could have fed 5 of us. The Ethiopian coffee is always a must as well!

I had a family party of 5 of us. The manger put us in a smaller table. I asked him if we could sit at the larger table and he said that the larger table for for parties of about eight or more. I asked him if we could move to that table and he said no. We all just got up and left.He was not a good businessman. He lost about $200 and he made me so mad to post this bad review of the poor service of his restaurant.
