When they put the new airport in I was critical of the distances involved but being able bodied it was ok I could do it just fine. In spite of them taunting people about it (yes the steps sign is taunting and frankly tone deaf)they seemed to figure out that moving walks and accelerated transport are a key part of making airport designs like this work. Hopefully that work continues because they aren’t done. Fast forward to this year though and needing to travel with a broken leg I’m learning that the distances are even further on crutches and that the handicap karts…you’ll wait an eternity. Need an Uber? Oh boy get ready to sig and zag your way out of there. I may not normally be disabled but the signers really should be ashamed. And the people that allow those karts to be a 30-60 minute wait should be fired. Hot take? Sure…but it’s also heinous. Don’t even get me started about all the other games we’ve endured as the new airport has figured out how to do airport things. I’ll never forget asking the airport which carousel our bags would be on to get told to ask delta and deltas telling us to ask the airport. The lack of accountability was stunning.
I was absolutely disappointed with the service I received this past Friday, September 20th, 2024. I had to wait 40 minutes for my food. That is totally unacceptable! When asking the waitress why - all she said was "we got busy!" ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. [THIS SHOULD HAVE NO STARS BUT IT REQUIRES ME TO SELECT AT LEAST 1 STAR]
I am a pretty easy going person and don’t expect much when it comes to customer service. This experience at the Market Street Grill inside the airport wasn’t fun. I had a lot of time to relax before catching my flight and saw this restaurant with tons of open seating with window views. I thought that would be nice to have some food and watch some action of planes moving around so I asked for a window seat. The host started to say something about not seating me in that area and then stopped midway in her sentence and said “follow me”. She sat me in the general area of windows but not a window seat. I was a little disappointed but whatever. However, the table wasn’t cleaned and so I asked the waitress if it could be wiped down. She got very irritated with whoever sat me and started talking very loud saying “Who sat you here?” and she walked away saying “they are not suppose to sit you at a dirty table.” I felt like I wasn’t welcome at this location at all with both of these interactions. The waitress returned back and wiped my table down and apologized for the dirty table. From that point on she was nice but not very personal. Then the food came. I ordered the salmon burger which was awful. It didn’t even look like salmon and the onions were the very end and old. Do they really expect people to eat something old and wilted? I don’t recommend this place and won’t return as I travel through SLC.
This is one of ur favorite restaurants at the SLC airport. The food is good, the price is reasonable and it is in a central location near the entrance to concourse A. And at a midpoint of concourse A. The service is usually very good and quick.
The system is stupid. You ask us to order online and pay online before we get the food, and including the tips! How do I know how much to tip BEFORE I receive the services? Then a food item is out of stock but you cannot refund me but needs me to go through another hurdle of filling a few stupid forms and yet still have to wait. Til now I still don't know if I am refunded or not.
What has happened to this long time favorite of mine? Between them trying to force you to use QR codes to get a table, look at a menu, order and pay for food, their no smile staff policy, their slow serving times in a busy airport, and at best, mediocre food, they have finally weaned themselves of my corporate expense account. Given the history and equity of this brand on the Wasatch front, the owners of the brand at this location should come up with a new name for this joint.
We did NOT dine with you. First of all - there was a sign with a QR code showing that we needed to scan the QR code in order to be placed in line. We stood there and complied. While we were doing that, people walked past us at front podium and were seated by the hostess. We looked at her when she returned and we asked if we could be seated. She took another few people to their table and didn't return right away. She showed up at 10:31 am and told us we could no longer order breakfast. We were there. We were there for breakfast. This was stress that we didn't need or want on a long distance traveling day (or any day for that matter). So we left. We walked down to Vessel Kitchen where we had a most ENJOYABLE experience. We will be sure to bypass Market Street Grill on all future travels!
Food was excellent, Bloody Mary was tasty. Highly recommended.
Firstly, what caught my attention was the view. A super pleasant and comfortable environment to wait for your flight time. Thank you Cristina for your impeccable service. I ordered an aperol, a tuna which was delicious and a portion of fish which was not so tasty.
Real nice airport restaurant, food was well prepared with nominal wait time. Friendly staff and very attentive!

Overpriced, small portion crab Louise. Greens were not fresh, nor was the crab. Disappointed as salads have been outstanding in other locations
I really enjoyed my lunch at Market Street Grill before my last flight. I had the Fish and Chips and they were delicious. I love that the SLC airport has such a nice restaurant to relax in before I take off on a trip.
Our server was rude and acted like we were bothering her. We canceled our order and left.
We are used to the downtown MSG and found this laking. They had a sign out front with a QR code that said that was how you got on the waiting list, and then later the woman at the welcome lectern "no,no. no --you come up here and get on here and get on the list with me". Many people had come up and done the QR code thing. I asked her why they didn't just turn the sign around and she said "the boss yells at us if we do that"'
Terrible service!Food was horrible!Do not waste your money here!!!!
