John is great! He always remembers us and he went above and beyond by making my girlfriend a mocktail for free since she wasn’t 21 but wanted to try the cosmopolitan.
Overall service is decent here, sometimes a little slow during peak hours. However, John always does a great job.

Great food, awful margaritas! There’s nothing like having a good margarita with Mexican food. Unfortunately the margaritas here are like sucking in a lime. I got the Cadillac and my wife got the skinny. Both were so overwhelming with lime that they made my face pucker. I really don’t remember the last time I didn’t like a margarita, but this is probably the worst one I’ve ever had.
The saving grace here is the food. The chicken burrito and chicken enchiladas were both really good and both had tons of meat in them. Neither of us could finish. As for the salsa bar, if you can handle spicy, try the mango. I’m not normally a fan, but this had some really good flavor. I wish it were milder so I could eat more. I don’t know that any of the salsas were bad. We enjoyed each one we tried.

Mi Buena Vida is authenticly Mexican food restaurant. All around delicious food and a plethora of salsas to pick from. I ordere the Fajitas, they were a tad too salty but overall good seasoning. The drinks and cocktails were also spectacular! I recommend it 😁

My girlfriend and I are frequent customers of your Sugar House location and usually have fantastic experiences; we really enjoy your food. Unfortunately, during our visit earlier this week, we had a very disappointing experience.
Much of the food we received was overcooked and dry, and some items were nearly inedible. For example, my girlfriend’s chicken for her taquitos was extremely overcooked and difficult to cut, and the sour cream that should have accompanied the dish was not provided.
Additionally, our service was unsatisfactory. Our waiter did not check in with us once, failed to offer refills, and did not ask if we needed anything else. This lack of attention felt unprofessional and made the experience uncomfortable.

The experience was highly disappointing, as the ordered tres leches cake was essentially just bread soaked in milk, lacking the expected flavor and texture. This poor quality made the product not worth the price, indicating very low value for money. Compounding the issue, the staff was also unfriendly, contributing to a generally negative customer experience.
