Mint Tapas and Sushi 4 (Sugar House)

We’ve been here many times, and it’s always amazing. Sloan was our server this time and he really went above and beyond. Some of the best customer service we’ve ever had. Even though we’ve been here before and tried a large part of the menu he gave us some awesome recommendations that really took our experience to the next level. I already thought it was amazing but now even more so, truly our favorite sushi spot. And so refreshing to have a server that’s just as passionate about sushi and food as we are! The comet with the fresh wasabi is to die for!

We got the titan, luna, and vulcan rolls and they were fantastic. The luna in particular was amazing. Our server Kelly was wonderful, very attentive and super nice! New favorite sushi spot

Overall really like this place! Food is really good, atmosphere is a bit on the cold side but it would be a great place to entertain as they have something on the menu for everyone. The execution on dishes is pretty solid, there was some real highlights and a few missteps. The sushi rolls are real winners as they tasted fresh and bright. Poke nacho was good, but not what was expected, it came with several strips of tortilla but without a scoop option we had to ask for a spoon to help eat it. The standard edamame was good but the spicy soy beans had way too much sauce. Jalapeno Hamachi was really good. Garlic shrimp were the most boring bland item we had, highly recommend to skip this. The tuna truffle was nice, maybe a bit too much truffle oil. Overall great place and would return.

The food and drinks were great!

However, it was a slow night and it still took about 15 minutes before we got any service after we were seated. I had to remind the hostess we were there before we received service.

The food is great.i loved the smoked salmon. The place is very welcoming. Staffs are great. I don't know about the parking though. It's in a walkable friendly place. You will definitely find a spot to park and walk here

We went for dinner on a Sunday and everything was fantastic. Not crowded at all, and the atmosphere was clean and calm. We tried a mix of tapas and sushi rolls; all of them did not disappoint, and I found the prices to be fair for the quality. The jalapeño hamachi vinaigrette and wagyu crostini sauces were especially delicious, and our server mixed up some more for us to dip our sushi in. Service was also prompt, and we loved our server Bo! She was very funny and gave us some great recommendations for dishes.

This is like the only place I’ll eat sushi from in the valley. Somehow their fish is SO FRESH! I think I’ve tried everything on the menu, I love this place!!

The salmon salad, shishito peppers and grilled scallops were fantastic. It was divine. Delivery was very fast. I had been to other branches and none were as delicious as the one today. It was the best. I love the restaurant. I would definitely go back.

Absolutely recommend. Pay the extra for authentic wasabi. You won’t be disappointed.
