Description and menu was accurate, price was fair. Very clean. Pulled pork sandwich was flavorful, cole slaw was a nice addition and the bread was the perfect balance of soft and crispy. As a nauvoo-area native, I really enjoyed browsing the art.
This place is a fine eatery. The usual clientele are dressed formally and the building is quite fancy, but it is a casual dress establishment.Ordering was a bit slow, as the cashier was a bit slow (she was training). However, the trainee was one of the nicest cashiers I’ve met.The rolls are delicious. As the Lion House is temporarily closed, this is one of the few places you can still buy the rolls. They have delicious gluten free sandwiches! The staff was knowledgeable about gluten free options and took care to avoid cross contamination. Not to mention, Joseph Smith Memorial building is an elegant place to eat lunch.
