For a hotel restaurant this was quite enjoyable. Food was really good and they have gluten free pasta. Thank you!!

This downtown Italian gem offers a culinary voyage through Italy with standout dishes like their mouthwatering hamburger with fries and refreshing arugula beet salad. But what truly elevates the experience is manager Berkay's hospitality. From his warm welcome to expert recommendations, Berkay ensures every visit is memorable. For authentic Italian flavors and exceptional service, this spot is a must-visit. Buon appetito!

Stopped by for a drink at the bar and had a pleasant experience. The bartender-- Alec was super friendly and attentive. Would not hesitate to return for another couple of drinks sometime

We were eating out in Salt Lake City since 1999 and over the years posted reviews for multiple restaurants during our stays. Last reviews reflect our stay in SLC over holidays in this Dec 2022. We visited multiple restaurants and had major disappointments in each of them. Except for Piastra. We always come back to Piastra to remind ourselves what good quality is. This restaurant located in Marriott City Center is absolutely the best in town in my view. Every entry we had during our 2 week stay was great. I am puzzled why other restaurants we visited in the city - from mid level to exclusive Spencer’s steak house could not be even close to Piastra in the Marriott. I highly recommend this place for both excellent food and great quality of waiter service. Marriott remains a true benchmark for hotels in both hotel quality and food quality.

Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The pasta and chicken was so delicious!! The service was really friendly, kept my cup filled, and the food didn't take long to come outThe only thing I would add, or suggest adding, would be turning up the music a bit, and the lights a little lower. ? Just my type of vibe. There's two separate TVs for sports, booths, and various sizes of tables, and individual chairs and a sofa for lounging near the fire.If you are staying at the Marriott, I highly recommend dining here. ?

Due to limited dining options at the hotel i ate here twice - once in the bar and once in the dining room. Food options were minimal - items that were listed on room service were not available in the dining room - items listed in the bar were not available in the dining room and items listed in the dining room were unavailable in the bar. The service was unfortunate - tried to get condiment s for a burger i ordered in the bar and they couldn’t even find the basics - mustard and mayo. They finally came up with a few packets but never found the mayo. In addition - the order in the bar was not correct when it arrived. 2 days later i tried the restaurant hoping for better results. Was told they didn’t have any pasta on the menu. Ordered a pizza that was less than expected Don’t bother with this establishment - if it’s not Sunday just leave the hotel and try a local restaurant. Unfortunately on a Sunday we were trapped due to everything being closed.

The food here for breakfast and dinner is among the tastier options that i’ve had during my short stay here in SLC. Fantastic service from the waiter and waitresses here. Friendly, attentive and quick.

Ordered calimari and Caesar salad. Calamari frozen, over-breaded, overcooked, almost tasteless. Served with marinara sauce that tasted rancid. Salad nothing like a Caesar salad. Served with the saddest tomato wedges ever (why??). Capers advertised in dressing not in evidence, no anchovies, "brick oven" croutons obviously the stale kind from a package. Ismael the server was fine, but the food was lousy for the price. Many better restaurant options nearby.

Nada made sure our night was more than just an evening in at a hotel bar with coworkers, but a night of spirits, laughs, and fun times
