Tried the banana cream pie latte and i really enjoyed it. It gets better in the end too. A little on the sweet side. I usually try a mocha so they added mocha syrup to it. Will have to go back to try the Vietnamese I keep hearing about.

I recently discovered Picnic Cafe and have visited 3 times since discovery. They may not be known for their everything bagels but they are very good for SLC. Each time, I have ordered an iced strawberry matcha and my partner usually drinks an iced latte. The iced latte's are good and reliable. The iced raspberry matcha is on the sweeter side, in my opinion. The sweetness is not overwhelming but is notable compared to my other go-to matcha spot.
They have a quaint inside seating area with spots to get work done. If you're there to chat, their outdoor patio is where I'd choose to sit. Parking throughout the neighborhood around, there are not assigned spots available.
My one complaint is that they open at 8 am. I would love to occasionally stop by on my way to work but that is far to late. I haven't been to any other coffee shops in SLC that aren't open until 8.

This is such a great place. The pastries are absolutely amazing. The bagels are the best I have ever had. You can tell they use top notch ingredients. The staff is friendly and the owner is one of the nicest people I've met. I highly recommend eating here.
Matcha was overly sweet and lacked good matcha flavor. Barista was super sweet though

The Vietnamese iced coffee with the Pandan cream blew mind because it was so delicious and unlike anything I’ve had. All the girls working were sweet and kind, and were clearly working efficiently. Looking over Picnics menu, they are doing some really fun and creative things— Can’t wait to go back and try their coconut water iced matcha with raspberries!

Excellent bagels and coffee! The lox bagel is freaking amazing. Also we had an opportunity to try the plum soda and it was so refreshing on a hot day. Vibes are solid inside and it's a great place for breakfast or lunch. I even hear they have community events like herbalism classes and the teacher is super rad. My wife and I loved it and will definitely be back!

Not many gluten free options, I don’t think having a gluten free bagel is impossible, service is good but they could be a little more welcoming and accommodating with the request. Overall good place but there is room for improvement.

Haven't been since this was Amour Coffee.... I needed a minute to peruse flavors. Then cashier started to count down her till; so, I went to restroom real quick and came out and waited. Then another customer came in, she happily greeted them and started to take their order. Seriously? I've worked customer service in the food industry and this incident pushed my patience level.

I had the best time here. I love Liberty Park and just had to try out this café, and it does not disappoint. The seating is close and it gets busy, so prepare to be cozy with strangers. Espresso was among the best I've had. The lox everything bagel with capers was LEGENDARY. I felt classy af. My writing companion loved his panini. I'm so happy to have this place in the neighborhood, and I will definitely return to eat more bagels and pound out more rough drafts.
