Ate the pastries they had at the Farmer's Market. Best pastries ever!!!!
Thought I should give this place one more try after a really not so great experience. Got here at 6:07. People still cleaning inside. I knocked and asked it I could buy a tart quickly to go, young girl acted as if it was way out of line. I get it, you want to close and go home, but it would have taken 3 minutes to make a 30$ sale and you didn't take it. This review could have been so different if they would have just been kind and courteous.... Not worth the effort to visit.
Ohhhhh, those butter croissants. And really nice employees...I'll be back as the Terminator said
This a nice cozy spot tucked away in a strip mall. They have coffees, teas, drinks, bread, sandwiches, pastry, etc. I talked to one of their employees, and they told me they bake everything fresh in house. We ordered the turkey pesto sandwich, everything croissant, and a fruit danish. I would have like a little more cream cheese in the danish, but the croissant was so savory and flaky. The food was really good, I want to go back to try other items. Free Wi-Fi.
We love Pierre Country Bakery and make a least a couple of trips each week despite living in Park City. They have both sweet and savory crepes, tasty sandwiches and soups for lunch, fantastic fresh breads and croissant, amazing cakes and awesome pastries. Some people confuse Pierre Bakery with Glaus, but it's important that people know they are not the same. Pierre Bakery simply offers a few of the classic Glaus petit fours and cake recipes that were so iconic - basically Pierre Bakery brought back some of the best of Glaus! If you're looking for an awesome bakery in greater SLC, check out Pierre Bakery.
We were looking for fresh croissants for Saturday family breakfast , we googled fresh croissants.. and this is the first option, never heard of them before but we decided to give it a shot.. and let me tell you.. we were NOT disappointed.
Sad that you changed the turnovers once you merged with Glaus. They seem more Glaus-like now. I like Glaus okay, but I always preferred Pierre's pastries because they seemed more like authentic French pastries. The turnover I purchased today was dense, doughy, tasteless and had that signature super sweet Glaus glaze on top. The turnovers used to be so buttery, flaky and light and just had the sugar crystals sprinkled on top, no super sweet glaze. It wasn't any better than something I could get at the grocery store. Please consider going back to your buttery, flaky pastry dough.
The place is filthy ,and some of the employees have bad attitudes. I have never seen such a dirty bakery in all my life. They use frozen bread much of the time. Employees who have colds sneeze all over the food, discusting. It is edible, but is it safe, that is the question?
I used to like this place, but recent changes have really made it fall below par for a bakery. Baked good don't come out until 8:30 at the earliest. All the croissants, scones, and most all of the daily baked goods are covered in powdered sugar to the point it makes them overly sweet. And we've been charged for additional items on multiple occasions that we didn't order, and only found out after once we got the texted receipt.
Fantastic little place! Great service, plenty of seating, great crepes made fresh right there, authentic French breads and pastries made fresh every day. I've been to Paris and this place took me right back to the little bakery on the corner near our hotel. A must for anyone searching for an authentic french croissant. We'll be going back again and again.

5 stars for the amazing and surprising fruit tarts. I thought they were going to be filled with custard, but instead were double filled with chocolate, then a wonderful creme custard that tasted like brulee, and delicious mixed fruit on top. I also bought the dark chocolate raspberry topped individual cheesecakes. Yum and Eeeee.
Tried to order a turkey pesto sandwich. Was told—3 hours after opening—they “didn't have baguettes yet.†Ordered a croque monsieur instead, only to receive a blank stare and, after turning around to confirm that, yes, the giant letters spelling out “CROQUE MONSIEUR - $7†were still right behind her, a pause, then “... we don't have that.†No recommendations, no apologies, only an awkward silence before I let her know to cancel my order. “Uncomfortable†and “kafkaesque†aren't what I would want to come to mind when describing what prides itself on being a “traditional French bakery and cafeâ€, but who am I to judge?
I come to Pierre's for my lunch breaks since I work right next door and the staff is always so friendly and the desserts and lunches are delicious!! Highly recommended!!! I love you guys!!!
The baked goods are amazing..... The employees not so much. The large tatted up women is rude and disrespectful. First she ignored me for awhile and then helped customers who came in well after me and was unapologetic when this was made clear to her......lame. I have reviewed hundreds of establishments for Google and this is the only time I have given one star.
This place used to be better. I've been here many times over the last two years. The last few times I ordered French Toast it's been slow, cold, bland, and boring. White bread without syrup and only a little bit of the batter. Not only that, but today I didn't get my eggs how I ordered them and they were undercooked and cold. Super gross.
