Excellent alternative to Shake Shack (the lines 😳) or if you’re craving pizza. Extensive menu with lots of unique salad and beverage offerings. I was looking forward to returning to this airport spot after my last visit a few years ago. I ordered the Limone and added chicken. A few things kept it from being five stars, but it was still very good, especially for an airport meal. The bake was light for this style of pizza—minimal crust bubbles and quite blond— but the lemons...
The pizza was quite a bit better than I expected to get from an airport. Cheese had a nice consistency to it, hot, melty, and the crust also really a great consistency. Nice mouthfeel. Not too chewy but just chewy enough. The only small thing is I may have liked a little more marinara sauce but that’s a me thing. I tend to like a lot of sauce. I don’t think they skimped on it for what the typical person likes and I could have probably asked for extra sauce.
My favorite airport food stop because the pizzas are delicious and reasonable! The staff are always friendly and accommodating. When my family and friends visit me here in SLC, I always tell them to pick up some “eats” at Pizzeria Limone after TSA. Thank you for your consistent pizzeria and wonderful staff! 😋🙌🏽
