My Foodie Queen and I loveee Pretty Bird. A super crunchy chicken breast with a perfectly tender middle. The wait was a little bit long but the food was worth it.

This place is always consistent and delicious. It’s an expensive sandwich - but one you leave feeling is worth it. The seasoning has a sweetness to it but if you opt for an increase in spiciness, it’s still great flavor with lots of heat.

They don't take cash. It's going to be hard to keep the US dollar as the world's primary reserve currency when businesses inside the United States itself refuse to take it as payment. There is no law that says a private business has to accept US currency as payment, but I'm not going to give them my business; it seems foundational to me. They don't have counter personnel either, just disgusting touch screens—just what you want to run your fingers across prior to eating fries.

Best fried chicken around

The chicken is tasty but expensive. And seriously I can’t get over ordering on a screen start to finish and then being asked to tip. Tip WHO?! Gratuity is for a waiter or waitress who gives you great service. Not for takeout at a place where a person doesn’t even greet you and take your order. Absolute nonsense honestly.
Don’t try the Ghost pepper if you cant tolerate spicy food!

Jesse is THE MAN. I had to ensure I typed a stellar review before I drove off.
What started as a nuisance with a Doordash order turned into a wholesome interaction and complete turn around. My boyfriend called to notify me that our delivery was completely swapped with another. I was already out, so I decided to drop by to figure out the issue. Doordash grabbed two orders and ultimately swapped them.
Pretty Bird was not the one to have made the error, but Jesse made sure that it was corrected. He was super kind and chill, and also made sure to hook us up with all the other sauces to try! It wasn't their responsibility, but given the grace and effort to make things right, they made me a comeback customer! Go drop in and give Jesse props for crushing it!!

This place just isn't for me. The taste is fine but when I order a sandwich I want to eat it like, ya know, a sandwich. This behemoth was twice the size of my hand and impossible to eat. I'm sure some people love that but I'm just not one of them.

This place is always a hit or miss. Sometimes you will get hot and fresh chicken/fries and sometimes it'll be room temp and cold. You can get a better consistency at another hot chicken down the street.
Other than that, the price for the 10 piece meal is pretty good for the amount of food you get and i always never finish because the nuggets are huge and you get a lot of fries! The sauce is one of a kind, I enjoy the lemony fry sauce they have. vs raising canes has more herby peppery type of fry sauce. So whatever you prefer. I like this one because it cuts through the fat and grease with fried foods so i dont ever feel sick of eating.
I have seen other reviews complaining about the meat being grey and all sorts of colors. Thats because chicken thighs have various colors and they are not spoiled. Its smart for the owner to make fried chicken with dark meat because it practically cannot be overcooked, so it always stays juicy and tender. If you do not like dark meat then get chicken tenders instead since its white meat.
Definitely worth a try but don't expect hot food fresh from the fryer. I assume come when they open or during rush hour so you can possibly get the freshest chicken out of the fryers.

Been here several times and is consistently amazing hot chicken sandwich every time. Perfect texture, amazing spice rub, great balance with the slaw, and always crispy fries. Chef Viet’s got a great thing going on here.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Best hot chicken sandwich I’ve ever had! I first tried Pretty Bird during a trip last year and couldn’t stop thinking about it. This time, I even rerouted my plans just to have it again before my flight—and it was still superb! The service is just as impressive as the food. I accidentally placed an online order at the wrong location, and the team helped process a refund right away with no hassle. Great food, great service—highly recommend to anyone!
