Pretty Bird Hot Chicken, Sugarhouse

They only have chicken tenders, sandwiches, and chicken nuggets. I was hoping for a chicken dinner. It's fast food.

Had a chicken sandwich and a tender, both ghost pepper and habanero. Sandwich was great. Good mix of flavors. Don't recommend plain chicken dishes. The seasoning isn't cooked into the batter so it's uneven and overpowering. Great food though and atmosphere.

I went and got a chicken sandwich on Saturday afternoon. It was the only thing I ate that day. 6 hours later I had salmonella poisoning. One of the worst 24 hours I’ve ever experienced. I’ll spare the details. The whole time I was eating the sandwich I knew something was off in the taste. I wouldn’t recommend going here. The establishment needs to check their food.

What kind of business doesn’t have a working phone number? Every number I found online either leads to a generic voicemail with no option to speak to a real person or a message in Spanish saying the number is no longer in service. It’s incredibly frustrating. No matter how good the food might be, if you can’t contact anyone at the business, it shouldn’t even be considered a proper business. Reliable communication is basic customer service.

I got take out, the nuggets were cold dry and stale. I thought well maybe my sandwich will be okay.. nope.. dry, cold stale. I won’t be back.

A little pricey- but great food!

Collin behind the counter, was personable and welcoming. Seemed on top of things. The food is great.

Always a joy to find a great fast casual. Pretty bird excels in quality, and it shows in the curated selection and simple, well crafted interiors. This is a chain that knows what they’re going for, and does it with care. Get the chicken sammich. Also - the Bend Lucy chairs are a nice touch.

Why does the menu online show prices that are only available at the Midvale location? I went to this location with the expectation that the prices would be the same as Midvale. Everything was $2-$3 more expensive than what was shown on the website. I should have just drove the extra 15 minutes to Midvale and I would have saved like $10 off my order. The food wasn't great, bland chicken and I couldn't even taste the slaw. The only good thing was the corn salad.

Dry ahh chicken horrible honey sauce was literally choking by how dry the chicken was. Would not recommend the chicken sandwich was the only thing that wasn't dry but even so the bread was dry too would not ever come again. Overhyped friend told me "Better than Cane's" it was in fact not better than Cane's

Been coming here for years, and Pretty bird is hands down the best hot chicken in Salt lake. I'm not sure how houston or daves got such raving reviews, they don't even touch how good Pretty Bird is!
