BEST CHICKEN EVER!! Medium is no joke spicy, you can take them at their word on that. The bun! The crunch! The sweet garlic sauce! Seriously? Drool worthy food. Impeccably clean space and restroom is pristine, customer service precise! Do this! Make the drive, take the time, so worth it!

This is a good Nashville hot chicken spot to eat at. I had the chicken sandwich with fried and a garlic chili nuggets on the side. The chicken was very tender and the sauce was a great but a tad bit too sweet. The fries were decent fried well with a choice of sauce.

The atmosphere seemd like a clean open space with white tiles and all. The outdoor patio seating is s nice touch when you want to get fresh air while eating.

The staff was nice and very attentive in cleaning or making sure we were satisfied.

Pretty good and unique restaurant that serves chicken. Kind of pricey for what it is, but if you like the flavor, you can’t get it anywhere else.

Best hot chicken place i know, anywhere hands down. The menu is small, but I only go here for one thing, the classic hot chicken sandwich they are known for. Service it automated so you order and pay at kiosk, then they give it to you as its ready. Chicken is breaded and fried to order. Downtown location is more geared for take out, while the Sugarbush location has actual indoor dining. This was important since it was August and it was hot out, the indoor seating had AC.

Food is incredible as always wanted to give a shout out to one of the employees DJ. I was in a peculiar situation. He handled it very professionally and made sure I was taken care of and I hope he gets a recognition he deserves! stand out employee!!

I don’t understand all the bad reviews recently. We’ve been coming to pretty bird for years. Quality and portions are excellent. Love their unusual flavors in the breading (maybe cinnamon?) and PB sauce (zesty!). And 5 stars for the new spicy fries. Better than any of the other chicken chains in town.

The pictures do not do the food justice. I used to think Mr. Charlie’s chicken was the best in salt lake. Boy way I wrong. This chicken is tender, juicy and packed with flavor. The sauces to dip in are INCREDIBLE! Two thumbs way up! Definitely recommend this to EVERYONE!

Chicken batter is slightly sweet, similar to Frosted Flakes. The chicken itself had very little flavor. Fried green beans were very average. It took a very long time to make a chicken sandwich. 15-20 minutes.

my friend posted a pic of her eating a pretty bird sandwich and it was pretty enough for me to drive out here from vernal and try it myself. WORTH IT. best chicken sandwich I have EVER HAD! and the the pretty bird sauce is phenomenal. One of my favorite spots in SLC now!

I finally had an experience of what other reviews have said of brown chicken meat. Ive been here dozens of times and the quality of chicken has gone down. Brown meat, cant bite into the chicken.

I visited Pretty Bird Hot Chicken for the first time on a trip to Utah, and wow — this place blew me away!

The vibe is modern and super clean, with kiosk ordering that made things really simple and efficient. I loved the casual but upbeat atmosphere — it just felt like a fun place to enjoy good food.

Now let’s get to the best part — the food. As a chicken lover, this menu was everything I could ask for. I ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich and the Pretty Bird Chili Garlic Nuggets, and both were absolutely amazing. The sandwich was massive (in the best way) and packed with flavor — crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. One of the best I’ve had!

The nuggets were also great — bold flavor and a nice kick from the chili garlic. My only suggestion would be to toss the nuggets in the sauce instead of drizzling it. That extra coating would make the flavor even better.

Overall, this place is a winner. I’ll definitely be back — Pretty Bird just became my go-to chicken spot in Utah!

Chicken sandwich was good. I got the HOT. Wasn’t too hot. Next time I’ll have to go highest level of heat. We went around 3pm. Not busy at all.
