Coming from a polish family I was beyond excited to check out Rise! All their freshly baked pastries looked and smelled amazing. Went with the apple cake and it was truly fabulous - just the right amount of natural sweetness from the apples. Also purchased a few different types of pierogis and they are all delicious! The store had lots of goodies that I remember from going to the polish bakery as a child. The owner was so friendly and informed us of a pierogi making class! Will definitely be on the lookout for that and hope to attend!

I really like it going there. They have all the syrups, pickles, baking supplies, and ingredients that I would need to make a European or a Polish meal. They also often a half Polish pastries and desserts, and some specialties that are seasonal. And, their customer service is fabulous. I like going there!

It’s a great Polish Deli right here in Salt Lake City! Probably the only one too, so that’s why it’s a gem. The food is typical Polish food (tastes incredible, but might be odd for people unfamiliar with Slavic food). Love coming here for the food and groceries.

This was a little taste of home!! Being born and raised in Chicago and of Polish decent, my standards for Polish food is high. When we moved out to Utah, the lack of accessibility to Polish food was immediately felt. I am so happy we stumbled upon Rise!! My only wish is for them to expand and grow.

New to SLC, got my packzki here this year! I must say they were the best packzki I've had outside of the place we would get them back in Michigan. It's nice to have a place where I can get my Polish fix and sort of feel like home!

First time here ordered pizzas that were ok. Toppings were not that fresh and dough was tough. Also the sauerkraut I purchased was expired, and I didn't notice until taking it home. My mistake. Because of the really good reviews listed I tried again ordering kielbasa plate and meatball plate. Ingredients were even less fresh this time, everything lacked salt except for the mashed potatoes which were obviously reheated and nearly too salty to eat. The sausage took minutes to chew each bite and the meatballs had zero flavor. The pirogies were the nearly edible but very greasy; additionally they sour cream packet was placed inside with the hot pirogies. Unfortunately this was the worst takeout experience I've had in a very long time.
Had the cream and strawberries paczki today Best I have had in Utah, also purchased kraut and bacon pierogi and potatoes and sweet cheese one just delicious , I am from Chicago ,suburbs ,love this place ,next time will get the polish sausage .....yummy

The Polish scene in Chicago is amazing, and we typically shop at the delis, freeze it, and fly it home with this. We had high hopes when we heard about this new Polish Deli with a Chicago native as an owner. Though it may not be as big as other Deli's. This place had good stuff!! They had a Made to Order menu for your basic Polish staples, plus some other stuff.Also ready made sausage and frozen Deli items. Plus Polish Grocery.VERY good stuff!!!! Lives up to its name!!(And that pizza is a Pierogi Pizza! ?)

Such AMAZING pierogi's!!!! And this is coming from a 100% polish Chicago gal. I was visiting my bf in SLC and got him addicted to polish food. There aren't too many polish food places in SLC so when we found Rise, we had to check it out! The Kapusta pierogi was by far thee best pierogi I've had in LIFE!!!! If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Such a diamond in the rough. Keep up the GREAT work guys!!!!!
